Whoever throws down the most money wins! If there is a tie, the KT's draw straws! :D

Usually, we like to pick a player that helped his team win a key game. However, sometimes we definitely go with someone who put up big numbers in a less meaningful game. It's a very subjective process, and with a state this size you can imagine it gets pretty tricky at times.
For Region 1, Malcolm Williams did just about everything for his team in a huge win over Trinity.

Yeah, I was going to put the Katy part in there.
I wonder if he'll respond to all the stuff we're saying.

Copperas Cove's Tim Atchison should have a huge shot in region 2.. The senior safety had a pick return for TD, then a few minutes later blocked a punt and scored the TD. Also had a gamesavin interception with under a minute along with several tackles to secure the DC over AMC 21-14

In defense of KT: What's up with the bashing of his player of the week picks? I'd like to see anyone else do the job he does with the extremely limited resources he has. And remember, he's generous enough to offer this site's ammenities for free, unlike some other sites. And southlake kids, don't be bitter and say he only picks Katy players. In the 9 weeks of this season, he's picked 2 Katy players as the Region 3 player of the week. Not state-wide player of the week, but REGION 3. And by looking at the stats of the two Katy winners, they definently deserved it.
ANDY DALTON
QB, Katy
vs. The Woodlands
15-20, 241 yds,
4 TDs
In his first varsity game being counted on as a full time starter and having full QB duties, after sharing time last year..he stepped up big againts a then very highly ranked Woodlands team in week 0 in front of a large crowd on a huge stage(Reliant Stadium)
MICHAEL FUDA
WR, Katy (Jr.)
vs. Katy Taylor
6 catches, 169 yds.
4 TDs
Those are impressive numbers, I don't care who you are. First year of varsity football and he's breaking all sorts of receiving records at Katy. In that game he broke one record and tied another.
Now by looking at those two picks, I say they more than DESERVED their honors.
Keep on keepin' on KT2000
