Has completely turned around their season. (3-7 last year and this year 6-3)
Haters claimed Mac was "better". Claimed Churchill would blow us out...except for people like Texas Headliner, myself, and very few others.
Under Coach Wetzel, Reagan has seen their best record in school history and has the opportunity to go to the playoffs for the first time ever. Especially with a win over Judson - the first that would take place.

San Antonio - get ready for the next football power.
For years, since Reagan has been open, which has not been too long, the Rattlers have been very good to great at everything. Athletics and Academics.Except Football. That was until this past August when they started rolling.
Watch out because Reagan now has football to go along with everything else.
Overall, Reagan is the best in academics and athletics in the area.

First of all, I want to congratulate Reagan for putting themselves in a position to make the playoffs. Having said that, I dont think that I would charter the buses just yet. I am not really sure if Judson can put up enough points to beat Reagan by 18. The Judson Defense is going to have to play the game of their lives. Judson will need turnovers and special teams plays to get it done. Judson has struggled this year for many reasons. New offense, players kicked off the team, grades and injuries. Coach Rackley has never made any excuses. But the last two weeks I have been impressed with Judson. They havent given up. They have played their hearts out. That credit goes to the Judson coaching staff. And by not giving up, they have given themselves a chance. They are getting players back each week and Carl Bouldin is growing up as a QB. The Judson crowd will be in full force. I just have this funny feeling that next Friday night is going to be a magical night in Converse. Judson has been in big games before and that experience will help. I look at the game as the first playoff game. It is win or go home. Well win by 18 or go home. From a coaching perspective this has to be a funny feeling. How do you approach this game from both sides? If i am Rackley, I just tell my kids to leave it all on the field. I tell them winning the game is most important. If you win the game and give it your best shot and fall short of the playoffs you can still hold your head high. I also think this game is going to bring some interesting situations as far as going for 2 and going for it on 4th down. I also feel that being the aggressor is a better situation than being defensive. If I am Reagan, I dont think I would play defensively in hopes of not getting blown out. I would still be aggressive. I also feel that the pressure is on Reagan. In all honesty, they should beat Judson. Just look at the fans on this board. Reagan already has it in the bag. I have seen more bulletin board material on this board than Judsons board could handle. The giant has been asleep, but I think he has opened one eye. Reagan better bring their A game Friday night. In a way this is one of the more intruiging seasons in years. See you Friday night.

I haven't chartered the buses....and I know for darn sure that no one else in Reagan are considering they are in the playoffs either. We know we still have one more game to go. And I too, have a good feeling ;) just more for us. Reagan should win this one. After seeing Judson play against Mac.....if Reagan plays like they did against Smithson Valley and Churchill, we should win. Our offense cannot make mistakes and special teams need to keep it simple.
Hey Headliner, just make sure you wear green and sit on the WRIGHT side ;)

Not bitter RR, I've been saying it for two years that Reagan will be the team to beat eventually. They are similar to Churchill of the 70's and early 80's. I was just being sarcastic about the huge memorial that struggles to just have a winning season. Despite being the largest school in Region IV and one of the top 5 in the state, they found out that a huge enrollment doesn't automatically bring success. Judson would love to have the opportunity to play Memorial in playoffs--again. Results would probably be the same, even this year.

This is the ultimate set up game. Nobody thinks Lee will beat Churchill, but it can happen because the Chargers have had a major letdown not maknig the playoffs after beating Judson and SV. Reagan knows they're in as long as they lose by less than 18. Judson knows they have another chance, but have to blow Reagan out of the water.
Judson will be VERY aggressive and I think Reagan will be more passive. I say Judson DOES win by 18 and I won't be surprised if Lee beats Churchill.

What makes you think that Judson can all of a sudden turn it on? So, they have been able to play aggressive all year but have held back just to make things interesting the last week of the year? Come on, you are smarter than that. Don't let your red glasses fog your vision.
You know damn well that Judson has struggled this year and that they can not just all of a sudden change what they have done all year in one game against a team that is hot now. A team that just crushed their #1 enemy and a shut out Judson.
Be realistic, Judson will play hard and play with heart, but they can not save their entire season.
