VY looked terrible passing. That slant he threw to pittmen was by far one of the worst throws i have ever seen. He had about 10 others that were pure terrible. It seemed the only passes he threw were to wide, and i mean WIDE, open WR. It seemed as the game went on the fatigued OSU DBs couldnt stick with anyone. However, VY is very dominate on the ground, but his passing skills, will be exposed against usc or bama.

That's what happens when you don't follow threads throughout..... I've said all along I grew up a Texas fan.....for many many years.....even in the down years.....I loved watching the Tyler Rose....and Texas in general. Even when we were down I could expect a level of integrity, a level of toughness, a level of moxy brought to the game. Texas WAS my favorite team. When Notre Dame comes to play...you know...you are about to be in a fight. When Michigan comes to play...you know....When Fl, Fl St, MIami, USC, you know....it's gonna be a fight. UT should be our fight team. Then mack brown came....and under less than noble conditions, and the university took on a "corporate image." I waited to see....and the more I saw...the less I liked.....reminds me of Jerry Jones....George Steinbrener (sp) of the yankees....I'd rather root for a team that's most likely to lose than a plastic system....I want to see teams with the heart of a champion, this team should be head and shoulders above any in the nation. It has some of the best talent in the great state of Texas. It also has a weasel to lead them. It'll never be what it could be as long as he leads......I'm hoping he remembers he's mack the weasel and blows it...unfortunately with the schedule he has...it's almost impossible.

If you were to poll NFL and MLB fans as to who was the owner they would most like to have in THEIR town, it would be Jones and Stein' hands down. Do they have enemies, like you, but their hearts are in the right place, they do everthing possible, in their minds, to bring championships to their towns. It's a far cry from some towns where the owners low-ball contract offers, underspend the cap, and refuse to spend or do what is necessary to win (Texas Rangers and Minnesota Twins, for example). I'll add Mark Cuban to that list of owners who do their best to bring home a champion. He's weird, yes, but he tries to win and has the desire and will spend a buck or two.

To align Mack with these guys is a compliment, because you can dislike the man, and his actions, but you can't question the committment to winning that all 4 of the above men have.

Steinbrenner is all that is wrong with Baseball....the NY owner that just died is why the NFL is America's greatest game and has surpassed baseball.

No owl...you see, that's integrity...I told your hero 100 post ago that I was done with him until he could learn to talk football . AND, I stuck with it.


He on the otherhand claimed to place me on ignore...he didn't.

He's tried to rally his worshippers to no luck...well except you his errand boy.

When I first got here I read numerous post of him pouting and He claimed to be going to leave the forum like a little boy who says I'm taking my marbles and leaving...- He never did


He AND you insult anyone who dares disagree with your takes if you want to call it that. He calls them names...threatens them publically.....calls them cowards ; liars; refers to the male anatomy.

He's a real class act.....and one I can do without.....but as long as I am here, I'm not going to just let him take these same shots at everyone on the board that disagrees with him. Not without giving it back to him and watching him whine like leftout mack last year.

My private message are increasing everyday of people he has insulted, who are saying right on!


More and more people would like to talk football without being called names or bullied. I'm just bullying the bully.....

You make a lot of good points. I like Wide a lot, but he's not without fault. It's easy to see where he rubs people the wrong way and that's what led to him getting banned 3 times. He has a lot of pride and passion. I think he's a pretty good guy most of the time, but he does have communication issues. He does really get down to talking about football, but he mostly likes to TALK. There's nothing wrong with that because I do too. He has a real good knowledge of the game, but gets sidetracked with disagreements. You have to take the good with the bad concerning wide. You don't get to 4000 posts without finding a few people who aren't on our Christmas list. The board would be missing more with him gone than with him here. I don't think it's a good idea to get in a war with him because both of you could be banned and I don't want either of you to go.
