Congrats, Houston!
So, then after the next two seasons, all of the bugs should be worked out of Jerry's new digs, and those two years will be at some stadium in Arlington.

It's actually only set for 2008. I edited that out of the original post. I assumed it was two years again- not so.

So, it's good manners to announce that the other 31 Division II playoff schools in Regions I and II need to just pack it in because there's no reason to load up those buses?
Or are you just admiting ahead of time to fixing games?

I thought the KF game last year was played in Huntsville. I always thought SHSU was part of Houston in football terms.
However if Fav isn't counting that game, it's easy. TWHS in 2004 at Conroe.

Katy 02' and 03' didn't become decent teams until around week 7 or 8. They would be much further down the list in my opinion. So Klein Forest 02?

KF was undefeated when we beat them in '02 - I don't recall about The Woodz, but they were pretty darn good in '04. The '01 Spring WF game went to OT - in the Dome.

Yeah on a weekly basis. I would want to play first in a double header. The last double header I saw there was Cinco Ranch/Pearland and Katy/Brazoswood and the field conditions were horrible. I remember guys just falling for no reason when making cuts and we would joke that he must have stepped into one of David Carr's "Butt Divits".........

I would, cause to me it's the truth, at least for 2003. I know i got my clock cleaned on an INT our QB threw. There was tons of inexperience and i was one example of it. But, we learned from it.

If Katy would have beat Lufkin at the start of either of those seasons I wouldn't have thought Lufkin had a very good team. The 2003 team completely over achived to go on and win state and no one thought they were going to be a state team going into the season.

Well, this thread stayed on track...
The Reliant grass will be an issue in the second game, but I'd guess they will try and make quick fixes between games.
I wish they'd go ahead and put the FieldTurf down, then they could host all the games they wanted. I can't think the maintenance required to replace grass palletes as much as they do is very cost effective.

What have I been a pest about? Is it because I disagree with your opinion and happen to stand by mine? The point I was making about 30-3 is that he is saying the Katy loss to Lufkin early in the season counts but Trinity supporters discount the loss to Permian as an early season offensive experiment that didn't mean anything. I will say that I am glad my persistence gets under your skin.

We lost the game to a better team at that point in the season and I have no problem with that (championship trophy is nice). My point was that the Lufkin fan chalked that win up as one of their better against a Houston area team and I was just saying that Katy wasn't that good at that point in the season.

Actually Lufin usually starts very fast. They peak too early and get uset in the playoffs.
Katy Offensive game plan takes along time to master it usually takes about week 8 to see it come together.
But honestly since Joseph took over in 04' Katy hasnt lost a pre district game since Joseph took over. I think its becasue they have become far more balanced since Massey left.

I could only dig up one poll on 2003 but did you know that Lufkin started the season at #1 in that poll and finished the season at #29 in that poll. On the other hand Katy started the season at #9 (way too high) in that poll and finished the season #2. I guess it is true that it isn't how you start the season but more how you finish. Lufkin seems to better at starting strong and not finishing.
