Congrats to ET for the #1 recognition. Sweet!

Also to Plano for the #10 ranking.

And lets not forget SLC at #24. Yeah I know we are used to the Dragons being in the top few, but lets get real.
Being nationally ranked is pretty nice.

You are right on the politics. History goes a long way and the respect really has been earned over time.

Wait until you get the teeshirt that comes with this honor, from the various national polls.
It has a large red/white series of Progressively smaller circles, or in your case they will make it black/white, with a touch of red, to match your colors.
The funny design makes other teams go crazy and play way above their normal level. It won't go away until the end of the season. Good Luck Guys!

LOL, very clever. We already have a shirt featuring a series of progressively smaller circles. We did recently receive one with a bigger series of circles, but it's not exactly something new :D.

I would like to see ET go wire to wire and win the mythical National championship as long as our teams dont meet.

BTW how many Nation CHampionshi[s have we had It seems the past 5 years Texas has more then any other state.

It really matters about which polls and site that you go by,...but I think it's Texas or Cali I could be wrong though.
