Ms. Favpack has gotten me watching John and Kate Plus 8 on Bravo (or TLC). Pretty good show - it's a reality show of two parents who have twins and also septuplets (or whatever six is). Shows the hard work and bonding of a large family.
But, as I was watching last night, I thought....Imagine a young, ill-equipped mom with 2 or 3 kids, and no father around. Not such a pleasant reality show.

That's insane!
And...this list is proof for quite a few of those mothers out there who's children's fathers WANTS and TRIES to be apart of their lives but yet....they do any and everything they can to keep their child's father away from them because they think their child doesn't need them for one reason or another.

Fav...that show was also on last night. I watched it myself, and thought it was pretty cool to see the bond that they have.

WOW....all I can say is for those who made it against the odds, congratulations. And for the Dads, thanksI couldn't say it better. People didn't like it when I said it, but the biggest problem in this country is men and women having kids and not being married, followed closely by divorces.

And like Matthew said...you have the women who don't want to let fathers be apart of their kids lives. Not bragging or anything, but we are rare....embrace the fact that a man wants to be in his kids lives.

Although I'm one of those young guys who has a daughter that was born out of wedlock, I agree. I learned from that mistake though.

Yep...we all make mistakes...but, it's all about how you bounce back and learn from those mistakes. (NOTE: my daughter is/was not a mistake...just speaking in general.)

You don't need to be married to raise children properly. A lot of times being apart is what's better for the kids, just keeping in touch and being there is all it takes.
