sv comes out on top great game huge plays made by both sides.
That was one great football game. Caflish sp?, is a heck of a player and after the game, he came to the SV side and shaked the hands of all the SV coaches. Very classy. SV simply played like SV. They made key stops when they had to and limited their mistakes. The offense seemed to click tonight also. Both sides had big plays. Great game and Kudos to both fine teams.

SV did what SV does and did it well. Madison did what it does...fumble...blocked FG... Why is the star RB doing everything, especially when he sucks at it...that SV kicker...there's a guy to write home about...wow. Great game.

Yeah, good game.My voice is gone again.Last time that happened this year was when we played Judson.Does any one have an injury update on our starting tailback(Trent Rios),who came out with a leg injury in the 2nd quarter?

It was a great game. Some observations from the game:
#20 for SV was MVP if Madison's kickoff returns are always that good. He kicked all but one deep into the endzone for no return with several through the back of the endzone. He would be a great pickup for any college program since he kicks it deep and is a great safety after kicking being a starting DB for three years.
I think the key to the game in the second half was SV was winning the battle in the trenches for both OL & DL.
SV needs to abandon that trick play when they snap the shotgun snap over their QB's head and he runs back to cover for a loss. It hasn't worked for them all year :)

# 20, any relation? Sendero....His name is Sendejo... Anyway, he always has a great game, and I see him playing D-1 as a DB and kicker. He has the speed, and agility of some of the best, but his is also 6"1 which is odd for a DB, but a great asset. He is also a great soccor player. Yea, that trick play has been tried what, 10-15 times this year, and it has lost like 100 yards! Not working! :)

Sendejo is great. He reminds me of Reagan Schneider from a few years ago. They both have power. The only difference-and the reason Schneider was a field goal kicker-is accuracy. I played soccer with both of them. You did not want to be between them and the goal on a cold day. Ouch!

Maybe that trick play, should have one more trick added.Put a running back, about 5 yards behind Hill, then the options begin, lol

Good game played by the Rangers I thought that they would take this game, and I thought they would win by a bigger margin, but good win here.
Good luck as you move on.

I wouldn't say Rios is "fine" just yet... Unless you call having your leg in an immobilizer brace and being on crutches "fine." At least, that's what he had on today. I'm not gonna speculate as to how bad it is (that's the job of a doctor), but he definitely didn't look "fine."
The newspaper even mentioned that Coach Hill was fearful of getting the results back on Monday.

He did not look too good, and the results should be in Monday. Either way, SV is getting Shrock back, and they have McKin, and Hall. Anyone that does not know about Hall should after the last couple of weeks. Great kid, and very good RB. Rios is just a So. and was getting a lot of playing time due to the fact that Blake was out. I hope he is ok, but as of right now, all we know is that he was wraped up toward the end of the game. He could be fine, or he could be out for the season. Just have to wait and see.

Congratulations to both teams and especially SV on a great win. Sounds like it was a heck of a game. Hopefully Rios will be OK and ready to go for the playoffs.

Getting shrock back just in time for the playoffs, thats a good shot in the arm.He had some big TD`s last year in the playoffs.Really good as reciever out of the back field. And Hall, wow!can that get kid get some speed going toward the line.Of course Cody is our power runner, and really good blocker. With Trent in that mix, we could really have some fresh legs running on every play.

I noticed Hall was a senior, and he wasn't in last year's roster. Was he on JV last year as a JUNIOR? I find that hard to believe 'cause he's such an awesome runner. Someone clear this up for me.

Yea, what that other guy said. He moved here not long ago, and might have been playing if it were not for having to learn a very difficult SV system. It looks basic, but it takes time to learn the system they run. He is really good, and we should see more of him soon.
