Now, if you want a serious answer, check out the district and region rankings. I haven't heard many people complaining that SP is ranked overly high or low. They have talent, but it'll all come down to execution and preparation.

SP has a coach that is very familiar with Waco High as he grew up in Waco and QB for Baylor and China Spring.

stony has always been the most athletic team in our district its just they couldnt put it together but they finally did and look what happened. this team is good, but there not the best, and they will face a dog fight every time they step on the field bc all this hype is just painting a big target on their chest, someones gonna hit a bullseye sooner or later.

Play better defense this year and don't play half a game like you did vs SFA last year. Point and P-ville were always the most talented, Point just never had great coaching.

Agreed. Even when they were celler dwellers sp has always had GREAT athletes. Most of their football team also played basketball and when you looked at them in basketball (and even on the football field for that matter) you wondered how in the hell they were getting beat by everybody with the type of talent that they have. Now they have a solid coach, but IMO he is still in the bottom half of the district as far as scheme goes. I still think Leanders Gideon, Coach Ross at CP, Coach Wood at westwood and Coach Johnson (i believe, i could be wrong) at Round Rock are alll better coaches then SP's coach IMO. But theres no hiding the fact that ya'll are the most atheltic team in the district. But Pville was the most athletic team in the district for the last 10 years and ended up getting zero outright district championships. Stony Point, Leander, and Cedar Park are the only teams to have done that over that span of time
