Sadly, Hillary is close to calling it quits. She did a great job in essentially destroying the democratic race by just sticking in the race and letting republicans vote for her in the primaries. Obama has lost a lot of democratic votes to the just alittle more right than he is Mccain and thats all because they support Clinton more than Obama and won't vote for Obama. Mccain is a Liberal anyways so they won't lose entirely

According to CNN - she isn't done yet and she "absolutely" isn't conceding. Sounds like Obama's camp jumped the gun a bit. In the end, she is done anyway but she's going down fighting I guess.

As I noted in my double thread - I think she's pushing for VP - as she should be. If Obama can drop his ego a bit and team up with her - McCain could be in big trouble. We'll see.

I don't fully believe McCain fully supports the Bush tax cuts because he talks a lot about only spending what we take in. And, I'm also not so sure he's going to cut spending, which means if he wants to only spend what he takes in, he's going to have to take in more. I think he's interested in lowering corporate income tax and, in some fashion, changing the Bush tax cuts.
Anyhow, I'm listening to Rush right now and he believes that Clinton is going to win South Dakota and stay in the race.....

I agree -this team would give McCain a very difficult time but that ego is so ginormous, I think we would hear it drop here in Texas. That is a very big obstacle for him....his ego that is.

I've heard many people (mostly on talking head radio shows) say they feel he will not live through it either way. There are a lot of crazies out there as we all know. I don't care who the person is, I don't like hearing that kind of stuff....joking or not. I remember when JFK was killed, it was horrible and I remember it because it was so traumatic for all the adults around me.
I am not joking either when I say that I still think the mafia had something to do with that.

I think it is more of a 2012 set-up than anything. Because she's stuck with the race, she'll be able to play the "I told you so" card and have the Democrats who switched allegiances groveling at her feet if McCain wins.
She will be able to play the same card if Obama wins and then fails as president, and then we'll be blessed with more stories of how she dodged Serbian sniper fire as First Lady.
Hillary is one power hungry vieja, and that is what scares me the most about her. She's displayed every reason she'd fail miserably as president in her campaign. I think she lost the democratic nomination after South Carolina and the Billary controversy. She's been on a "save face" mission ever since, and partially succeeded thanks to some small morale boosting wins and Jeremiah Wright.

and if you are making fun of the mafia comment? Just look who JFK was fraternizing with....Giancanna immediately comes to mind. He also messed around with Sam's girl so you really have to wonder. It's not a conspiracy theory, I just know how the mafia works. We had some at our wedding reception in NY;). Actually, I shouldn't put the winky smiley - we really did - and hauled away over $10k from about 75 people in 1984 dollars.

Man I could watch JFK stuff for hours and think 100 different things.
The main thing holding me back from making the decision it was a cover up is the amount of people that had to have been involved and the fact that none of them have come forward almost 50 years later.

If you say so - isn't that what Obama is to so many people? Seems to be...the cult members of Obamaland seem to think he's perfect in every way - I only know of one being that falls into that category of perfect. None of these candidates are anything special if you ask me. Not even McCain. But I will vote for him because he isn't SO far to the left that he's falling over into the Pacific Ocean and he is our best chance out of a sickly lot at protecting our borders. The war will go on - yes, even if your friend there is elected. The President doesn't have that kind of power that he can just stop a war in its tracks. If he goes over to make nice with the terrorists, it will be us who pays the price in the end. Also, remember one very important thing when talking about our economy - it's a democratic Congress.

Only going by what I read here since I don't know you personally nor you me. I don't care for any of them but I vote because it's my right just as it's yours. I don't consider your vote for Obama a waste either - it's your right and your choice. That's what is so great about being an American and living in this great country.
But, you won't see me defend McCain as much as some do Obama - he has issues too - they just don't seem as large as Obama's (my opinion).
The stereotype comes from the Obama people not being able to A) explain why they will vote for him other than either to be hip and cool or he is all about "CHANGE" and/or B) fighting with everyone who whispers something untoward about their idol. In some strange way, I understand that last part. I am the same way about my idols but the two remaining members, Ringo and Paul, aren't running for the office of President of the greatest country on this planet.

I must've mistaken you for the other Obama-haters on here. Like I stated on another post I shouldn't have quoted you with my initial response.
What I think is that you are so quick to defend your point, you ignore others' and assume what you think they are saying. Perhaps they agree with you.
For now I am torn. Like most if I lined up issues that are important to me and what the various candidates stand for, I would vote for like 48% for one and 52% of the other. It doesn't work like that so I am stuck.
To be honest I don't think much of what the POTUS will do in four years is that impactful on the daily lives of us, me in particular. By the time the House and Senate get through taking their cut and pork what gets to me is a pittance.
I think much of what a President can offer is a direction and guidance. I will get grilled for this, but I think Obama might be great in that regard. One of the things I like about McCain is that he is not just a Republican but willing to buck the party. Obama sounds the same way.
The problem, I understand(I have not done all my research yet) is that both these guys vote the party line almost exclusively, yipee....

I defend T-long and Obama most of the time because yall bring up stupid reasons to not like Obama...like his middle name and such. No matter who I'm voting for those are stupid tactics.

PLEASE tell me why you are going to vote for McCain. Explain to me why he won't be Bush's third term. Give me three reasons based on his political background and experience on why you think he is best qualified to be commander in chief.
PLEASE tell me his stances regarding the economy and how he intends to get it back on its feet. Foreign Policy? Healthcare? funding billions for the war? Are those the reasons your voting for him?
I remember asking this same question to you a while ago and you have avoided it ever since. Its ironic how jmsfan can't answer the same question he tries to dish out.
Well we are still waiting to hear your explanation to why you are voting for Obama. How about why I am NOT voting for Obama and sadly am forced into voting for McCain:
1. Listen to anything that Obama says, really anything. He goes on and on about all this stuff he is going to do, BUT THEN ASK YOURSELF.. WITH WHAT MONEY!?!? How is he going to get all of this money? Oh I know, BY TAXING THE :Censor: OUT OF ALL OF US, wait my mistake by only taxing those who have the money to be taxed. Before Reagan became president there was a 70% tax on the upper tax bracket. Thus if you work hard and become successful than you only get to keep 30% of your income.
2. I really don't want to get into it because I could be talking for a long time but I think McCain might be alittle better about not further crippling our economy by way of the biggest scam of all time but if Obama were president the bills to "Curb" the non existent Global Warming wouldn't be vetoed. I don't want to get into this any more but if you disagree with me about global warming then I advise you to either read The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming by Christopher C Horner. Or look at the studies of John Coleman who is best known as the scientist who founded the Weather Channel and also who has recently filed a law suit against Al Gore among other scientist as the only way for them to come in and debate. Alittle suspicious for Al Gore and friends to completely avoid a debate with QUALIFIED SCIENTISTS.
3. Great foreign policy. Talk and make agreements with Iran while the IRANIAN PRESIDENT IS SAYING THAT ISREAL SHOULD BE WHIPED OFF THE MAP. Now that is some great foreign policy. The war is the war. Obama is saying that he will continue the war for almost half of his time as president.
4. I swear if I hear anything more about Universal Healthcare I may explode. I don't know if you realize how discusting that is. The idea that your tax dollars here that you work for here in Texas is being spent for someone elses knee surgery in OHIO!?!?! That is a false ideal. It doesn't work. If you want that then move to Cuba or Canada. Go watch another Michael Moore film.
5. HE IS A SOCIALIST!!!!!!! Isn't this supposed to be a capitalist country. Well not at all anymore. Which is really sickening. More and more taxes and restrictions will be placed on businesses to level out the playing field for everyone. Why not let businesses be free to produce. Reagan did that in the 80's and the US had some of the most productive and profitable days ever. Why can't we go back to that.
6. Just to say again QUIT SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY!!! (It is inexcussable that the Republicans continue to shell out money like crazy but the Democrats are just as bad) The Republicans have been out Democrating the Democrats but still saying that, Obama is still worse.
7. You want to know what McCain has done, what his track record has been. He has voted for many liberal bills and that is inexcussable but the fact you havn't really heard much from him in congress is a good thing. You don't hear him campaigning for some thing worthless like CHEATING IN BASEBALL. What I ask you is what has Obama done in his time as a senator? Really do you know? What has he voted for, what has he voted against? Thats whats important.
I can probably get about 20 more points but I'll stop here. The problem is you really don't know. You sit there and pose the perfect LIBERAL arguement that all liberals use. You all sit there not knowing what you are talking about and just throw out threats and insults. Really let me hear your take on his policies. I choose to vote for McCain not because I agree with what he is pushing but because I COMPLETELY disagree with everything that Obama has said. The Republican party still has some tiny aspects of its old conservative self but I'll take the Liberal McCain over the Socialist Radical Obama.

Then the opening our borders up for the world to enter is a close second. I am so with you on his "speeches" where he promises the world but these brainwashed followers don't realize that NONE of these politicians can give us the world. These people are usually down and out and think that he will show them the gold paved road to Oz. None of these candidates will do that but I don't hear McCain professing that he will. McCain is not Bush as so many Obamalamadingdongs keep saying. He is much further center in his thinking but he does know that he isn't going to change the country overnight as Obama seems to think. Anyway, thanks for putting that out there so I could stop my list...you covered my thoughts completely.

Kennedy was another Obama type candidate. He didn't do anything, he just gave fabricated speeches and made people like his charisma, thats it.

He was similar and he was Catholic which at the time was unheard of but my parents liked him so it was upsetting to them. actually CNN is reporting similar. Guess she wants to be VP - which would be terrible for Repubs because I think they could take it then. I just don't think Obama will go for that...two HUGE egos to fill such a small city.
Obama will definitely not go for that... I almost see it in her best intrest (which I really don't care much about) to back out and after either one of these presidents fails miserable sit back in the "I told you so" standpoint and go for it in 2012. She won't be able to be Pres. after being VP to Obama in 2012.

that would be the smart thing to do and I still think she is the most intelligent of the three whether we want to admit it or not. There is no way, if he gets in, that she would have any credibility remaining after he loses all of his (and that's a short road of credibility for him) within the first few months. By then, it will be too late and we will all be forced to go to the nearest government health center to see a doctor.

I don't really think T-long is doing himself or Obama a favor by arguing the way he is so I'm gonna take a different approach in this and answer what some of you are clamoring for.
First I'm only arguing first why I support Obama as opposed to Clinton, it should be noted that I am a moderate democrat, I generally support liberal social policies but am for more conservative economic control, if there were a true libertarian candidate running that had a shot in hell I would probably vote for them, but that won't happen anytime soon.
One reason I am very very worried about Clinton is the rhetoric and method's she uses when in power, especially what happened in her husbands administration. Bill was did not try and worry about congressional support once he was in power, and democrats paid for that in 94 with Gingrich's Contract for America. He thought executive power was enough to enforce his issues, and didn't compromise as much as I would have liked him to. This is one reason why I think the healthcare reform under that administration failed. With Obama's massive fundraising machine, it will provide a significant boost down ticket to all democrats that are running. Once the names on that list are released to all democrats who are running, it will provide a significant boost to what has been in the past an area where republicans held a strong advantage.
I also have qualms with how the Clinton campaign has been managed. They have hemorrhaged money early one, expecting the race to be over by Feb 5. She ran as a washington monument, in a year where the general populace is about ready to tear washington down in frustration. Politics is not a field of absolute environments, it's an area of constantly changing status quos, if you can't adapt readily and successfully to a constantly changing environment its not a field for you.
Also as a personal not for my generation, why were flocking to Obama's message does have something to do with rhetoric. If you listen to Clinton talk, you'll hear her using the word "fight" almost constantly. It's about fighting the right wing, fighting for this, against that, a constant battle of whats blown up in rhetoric to almost biblical proportions. Obama on the other hand captured my vote when he gave his address to the 2004 Democratic National Convention
"It is that fundamental belief -- It is that fundamental belief: I am my brother’s keeper. I am my sister’s keeper that makes this country work. It’s what allows us to pursue our individual dreams and yet still come together as one American family.
Now even as we speak, there are those who are preparing to divide us -- the spin masters, the negative ad peddlers who embrace the politics of "anything goes." Well, I say to them tonight, there is not a liberal America and a conservative America -- there is the United States of America. There is not a Black America and a White America and Latino America and Asian America -- there’s the United States of America.
The pundits, the pundits like to slice-and-dice our country into Red States and Blue States; Red States for Republicans, Blue States for Democrats. But I’ve got news for them, too. We worship an "awesome God" in the Blue States, and we don’t like federal agents poking around in our libraries in the Red States. We coach Little League in the Blue States and yes, we’ve got some gay friends in the Red States. There are patriots who opposed the war in Iraq and there are patriots who supported the war in Iraq. We are one people, all of us pledging allegiance to the stars and stripes, all of us defending the United States of America.
In the end -- In the end -- In the end, that’s what this election is about. Do we participate in a politics of cynicism or do we participate in a politics of hope?
I’m not talking about blind optimism here -- the almost willful ignorance that thinks unemployment will go away if we just don’t think about it, or the health care crisis will solve itself if we just ignore it. That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about something more substantial. It’s the hope of slaves sitting around a fire singing freedom songs; the hope of immigrants setting out for distant shores; the hope of a young naval lieutenant bravely patrolling the Mekong Delta; the hope of a millworker’s son who dares to defy the odds; the hope of a skinny kid with a funny name who believes that America has a place for him, too.
Hope -- Hope in the face of difficulty. Hope in the face of uncertainty. The audacity of hope!
I believe that we have a righteous wind at our backs and that as we stand on the crossroads of history, we can make the right choices, and meet the challenges that face us."
It's a very different style of politics. You might disagree with his politics, but he doesn't ignore conservatives or red republicans as a different group of people. That message, that style of politics is what I think both parties need in this country.
On why I support Obama over McCain. It's mostly based on the issues, I'm not going to pretend I don't have a liberal outlook on certain things. I think Obama is a better candidate to lead the country towards what I envision to be its future, a potential that inspires many younger voters like myself.
I considered voting for McCain over Clinton before he reversed many of his views during the primaries to try and swing himself to right? Is that what he truly believes? I don't know, but I see it as a Washington insiders method putting getting elected before that which he stands for.
Not all of us voting for Obama are blind or ignorant, I would imagine a great many like myself are very actively involved and would support his candidacy regardless of his age, and I look forward with great enthusiasm to casting my first presidential vote for him in the fall.

DW-this is a very goo post. I agree withn much of it. I would probably reverse the bolded comment above for myself, but otherwise agree.
The paragraph I italicized I see the same in both candidates. I would like to see a politician gain power and vote their concious. At this point it does not appear, for all their talk that McCain or Obama have. They seem to vote party line.

DragonWatcher, nice post... I was flipping through the channels one night and stumbled upon a Michelle Obama speech... It was earlier in the year... Man, that lady was smooth... Obama was cool under fire too... I can see why so many people are supportive of him in that regard...
On Hillary... Ron Brown, TravelGate, Bill, FBI Files, Foster... That river runs deep...
McCain, he's taking the flip-flop title away from John Kerry...

My gosh you are my HERO!!! I was just getting ready to put some points and you took the words right out of my mouth. And the Socialistic piece is the biggest piece for me. Then the opening our borders up for the world to enter is a close second. I am so with you on his "speeches" where he promises the world but these brainwashed followers don't realize that NONE of these politicians can give us the world. He is no better, in my opinion, than a cult leader who tells people just what they want to hear and then goes in for the kill.
Thanks. I am a Obama supporter. I am tired of the endless insults. Three reasons I would vote for Obama instead of McCain?? He disagreed with invading Iraq. So did I. He is pro choice, McCain is anti choice. He wants to change how business is done in Washington (as represented by his ethics legislation). There. Three reasons. Pretty simple and the first two are dealbreakers for me as far as who I will vote for. In 2000 I had more respect for McCain than I do now. The Bush campaign treated him like c**p. He subsequently sold out in order to ensure inheritance of Bush's campaign/fundraising machine IMHO, which is churning away for him. Methinks that his new support of the Bush tax cuts may be wrapped up in it somehow. We all vote for the candidate that we feel most represents our views. Period. End of story. Just because you disagree doesn't make the rest of us idiots. :ninja:

Thanks. Pretty much what I would have written (except for the first vote part ;)) if I'd had more time and felt more eloquent. :notworthy

:ninja:
Read the entire thread and NOT just what I write. WE are all entitled to our opinion and I appreciate your input but do not agree just as you do not. Most people I know who are voting for him are doing so because they despise Bush - wrong reason. They need to know that he is a Socialist in wolves clothing. I, frankly, am tired of supporting those who don't want to support themselves...sorry, I work all day and part of my pay already goes to them - that's enough.
I tend to say things that you don't like anyway but that's okay - to each his own. I'm not here to please anyone - just to have some fun and enjoy some good (and often times controversial) conversation
Here are my responses to your reasons:
He disagreed with invading Iraq. - I agree with the reason for the invasion 100% and I support the troops 100%
He wants to change how business is done in Washington (as represented by his ethics legislation): They have all tried that - not happening. Crooks are crooks no matter how you dress them up.
He is pro choice: That one I will agree with.
One final comment - if you find me so insulting, please block my name. Then you won't need to worry about when I talk about Oprah or Obama. Sorry, but this post sort of pissed me off too

One picture of a stupid kid is the best you guys can come up with? Too bad you guys can't issue absolute beatdowns like these:
2000: OU 63 - TX 14
2003: OU 65 - TX 13
The funny thing is, Texas was actually a top 5 team.
You're still a traitor for going north of the Red River. Of course, that seems to be what a lot of Dallas people do. Good thing the rest of Texas is true Texas and not DFW.

She kept it, btw, because my family has the means to support another life. But there is no reason to bring life into this country when that life can't be properly supported and under those circumstances.
And what about AIDS crack babies? AIDS babies? There are A LOT of MEDICAL and CIRCUMSTANTIAL reasons for having choice.

Hillary lost when she decided that she would have won by super tuesday and didnt set any organizations up in the later states.

Now even as we speak, there are those who are preparing to divide us -- the spin masters, the negative ad peddlers who embrace the politics of "anything goes." I’m not talking about blind optimism here -- the almost willful ignorance that thinks unemployment will go away if we just don’t think about it, or the health care crisis will solve itself if we just ignore it.

Some feel she lost when she had Terry McAuliffe running her campaign, he has never won anything and when he ran the Democratic Party they lost many elections in a big way and he only gave money to certain candidates. I still can not to this day understand why they chose him instead of Maynard Jackson as party leader he had a strong plan to rebuild the party. Howard Dean is using Maynard’s plan to a great degree of success.

Here's how Oprah got into it. Last time I mentioned Oprah - you were mad and PM'd me because I mentioned she was the leader of the stay at homes. I told you that I do know many stay at homes who work very hard but she is still a huge influence on a lot of them.
Now let's talk about the name calling on the PM's you sent me. Mainly the one where you insulted me by calling me CyFallsDramaMom and said everyone at Katy called me that in the lines at the games. Then you told me to stop talking about the vacations I take because everyone was thinking I was showing off or something. I explained that my vacations were what I do...I don't buy big fancy anything - I go on trips. Because I consider so many people here my "friends" I explained that I share my experiences -if I can't share my trips, then I'm really not sharing at all. I can be insulted on PM's - that's okay. What you did was insult me directly - all I'm doing is giving my opinion on a generic group of people - not you directly.
I just don't want to feel like someone is looking over my shoulder on a message board. I have the right to my opinion too just as everyone else does and you have the right to disagree. I see Obama supporters a certain way - I won't change that stance. Others may see McCain supporters in a certain light too - but you see, I'm really not a supporter of McCain - I am just ANTI-Obama.

Now now ladies......

Funny RR!!! It really did bother me at the time but the Katy folks were very nice after I apologized for being down on Katy last year - that's all ancient history though. But I don't think "every" one of them were calling me that;)

Again I would like to see a response from mojotrain etc to my post. You can't complain for 7 pages then when someone actually calls you out pretend it doesn't exist.
If you directed a post to me I missed it. What #was it. You know I usually respond.

You are bad!! If that's the case, I have to change it to CyFallsDramaMama - sounds better:rolleyes:. I knew it wasn't every one of y'all who said that but it still made me feel bad nonetheless. And if my posts were getting that much attention (which I'm pretty sure they weren't) then I need to go to Washington DC and cover the election for the New York Times or possibly the London Sun. That last one is my son's fave - on the second page, every day, they have a picture of a naked model...and the Brits are such prudes otherwise!! LOL

Then why can't you find a better conservative than McCain?
The conservatives (voters) are still just as conservative as always. Their last cantidate was Barry Goldwater. Everyone else shifted left left in the last eight years. The moderate(not conserative) republicans took the positions of the democrats of the fiftys and sixties and nominated McCain. The moderate democrats shifted more to socialism and nominated Hillery. Then of course those who at one time were considered just liberals to the ways of communism. Don't worry though the shifting I talked of is not a permanent thing.

I don't think I'll dicuss it point by point. I'll give you what I want from the goverment and you can deduct all points you might have from there.
I believe I should pay federal tax for the following.
For support of the biggest, meanest military in the world. Without it nothing else matters.
For the building of highways. For trade.
Thats it for federal tax. The tax system, by the way is wrong. You should pay a tax on goods purchased only. Excluding health care and food.
I think familys should take care of their own. When familys fail then churchs should take care of those who can't. If I'm to be my brothers keeper then I perfer it to be distrubeted through a church. The proverb that it takes a village to raise a child IMO is a bunch of junk. It dosen't! It takes a mom and dad.
Thats all, use it as you wish in reference to your post.

"Tired of the endless insults" ROTFLMAO!!!!!! if you can't handle the insults I recommend you visit some other touchy feeley forum or get thicker skin. Those so called insults are mild for this place.
I can handle them just fine. I do it every day. I'm a Democrat living in a small town in Texas. You don't get to be as old as I am under those circumstances without ignoring a few insults. ;) Would it be better if I just returned them in kind??? Believe me there's plenty of fuel for that fire, but I think I'll pass. History will take care of most of it anyway.

So, operation Chaos did just what it was supposed to do.. Muddy up the water at the Dem's camp and get them fighting within their ranks... Did Rush actually say it was over and time to move on to phase II?
On the race, as in Presidential, I don't get the Obama frenzy, understand the Hillary hating and would rather have another choice than McCain...
If you want to be truthful about it... Obama is getting the nomination because he is black... Hillary is not because she is corrupt... and McCain has because the Dem's ganged up in the early primaries and picked our candidate for us...
In a respectful way, before this thread gets locked, where am I wrong...
RW, how could anybody be anything but respectful to you. I don't know if I agree that Obama got it just because he is black. I don't think the demographics support that. A lot of whites supported him too. I do agree that Hillary didn't get it because she is corrupt, and if he picks her as a running mate, I will think less of him and his message. I didn't know the Dems crossed over to the Repub primaries, but I can honestly say I might not have been paying attention. I saw some of the reverse here in our own little town  (that is said with the utmost love for those involved). I don't think the thread will get locked. I think everyone can play nice. ;)

You're right about the Obama supporters, his support is mixed... And I didn't give him enough credit for the campaign he's had this far... But, race does play a factor in this election as evidence of the percentage of black voters who have moved over from the Clinton camp, lock step... It's all of the back-stories about Obama that bother me... Who is he, what does he stand for, who's the guy underneath the flash and show, just how far left to socialism will he take the country?
McCain, boy he's a tool...
I don't think we have a good choice...

Regarding this post that I made yesterday...if I could blame it on tequila or even crack cocaine I would but, since I do not partake in either, I will blame it on momentary idiocy or stupidity as well as not paying closer attention to my PM's.
Katyfan52 - I am SO sorry - it was not you who sent the Drama Mom PM at all and I apologize for being so nasty in that post. I was angry that I was being accused of insulting you personally and, in thinking back to that PM from earlier this year and then thinking it was you, I just took off with it. I confused you with another Katy fan and for that I am truly angry with myself. I wanted to make sure this apology was here and not on a PM because I feel that I embarrassed you in that post - even though it wasn't you at all. I am a bigger person than that and that is the reason I should step away from the keyboard when I'm angry and go drink a double cappuccino pronto:o.
No as for Obama, I still don't like him:cool:. I don't really like any of them - I wish we could start from scratch and go through a draft or something and get new players;)

The thing is, I really am not dramatic! I get easily pissed when defending those I love and care about or when defending my opinion and I sometimes get wound up about things. But drama queen I am not. Quite the opposite. I tend to laugh about most things and feel I have a very good sense of humor unless the above takes place. I would rather be in the wings watching the drama than be in it. But I have principles and opinions too just as others do and will defend them like a junk yard dog who hasn't eaten for 3 days;). That previous post of mine was just an error in judgement due to my lack of thorough research:)

EXACTLY!! It all started coming to an end with the "Great Soceity". I take that back I truely believe that it started coming to an end with the Anti-trust laws but eh, now the new form of those laws are the environmental laws that are taxing and limiting our businesses. The environmental movement is much like a watermelon, A thin layer of green on the outside but REALLY RED on the inside.

Oh, okay, that would be THREE times you had to apologize then - Sylvia's when I was invited to partake in the pre-game meal with the Katy folks - and Kitty and Pup tried to change my car decorations to red;). Then the breakfasts at Snappy's (YUM) that you and KTFiend so nicely treated us to before the state semi-final and the state game on our way to San Antonio. At least one of those, my car wasn't decorated until after we ate:D. I also remember parking as far away from the red cars as possible so as not to cause you all to rip me a new one:p. Those apologies "for" me are okay because I was in attendance to begin with and those were fun times too!
