i think klein vs. the woodlands should be on the gretest games last year or for the 2000's because it was the first time in kleins history to ever beat the woodlands, not only that but the game came down to the wire and we won with 4 seconds on the clock. could it maybe get put on there for one of the greatest games maybe not great but a very good game.

You've got to be kidding??? That was one of the sloppiest most boing games to watch and be at.....on both sides.....Klein won thanks to TWHS running back having four fumbles inside the red zone. Klein did finally get the monkey off their back to finally win a matchup but overall the game was poorly played.

MY vote is TWHS vs Tyler Lee 2003 in Texas Stadium.....triple overtime game!

The greatest game I have ever been to was the 2002 Division I State Championship game, Judson vs Midland.

2002 Division I State Championship: Converse Judson 33 Midland 32
Incredible. Judson came into this one as the savvy championship game veteran, as usual, against the new kid on the block in Midland. Midland had not made the playoffs in over 50 years prior to the 2002 season, and found themselves facing the definition of championship football in Judson. This game started modestly with both teams trading jabs. However, Midland QB Ryan Rowland led his team on a textbook drive to take a 32-26 lead with 30 seconds remaining in the game. Then, in one of the most unlikely plays in the history of 5A football, Rocket QB Dustin Quinney dropped back and hit a streaking Andre Williams for a 76 yard touchdown to win the game.

I was at this game when everyone was leaving with 30 seconds left, but I stayed. Glad I did.

I think one of the greatest games I've seen was the ET/Odessa Permian game where ET won 8-7 in the last few seconds of the game - all that MOJO magic and the mist and the dude coming out and hexing us - all that black on the other side - it was freaking cold and rainy - just a hard hitting defensive struggle back and forth.

There have been so many really great games it is hard to choose one. I can only speak of games from the DFW area since those are the ones I can watch without traveling too much.

I would put SLC vs. Abilene for sure on that list, was possible the best game I've ever seen next to SLC vs. Lufkin 2002. SLC vs.SV could easily be on that list also. KT when will you be adding games to that list from last year?

lake v katy
holy crap that had everything you could ever want, great back and forth game, 2 ot's, packed house going crazy, jeff wheelers magical blocked kick and lake stopping katy when they went for 2. God i hate this year's lake team.
