Wides good at covering up his lack of knowledge by his continual hating on other peoples typing, spelling, grammer, etc. Alot of people feal they may of been proved wrong by this clown, because he calls them stupid, and points out a few simple errors. I have read about 60 post from wide, maybe two about football, mainly critizing a misspelled word or complaining about pointless stuff, such as being a hall of famer. Well, at least wide is a man of his word, the man says he will never post again, and look at him. Oh, wait my bad, the man went back on his word, and posts everyday. Some "man" of honor.

I don't think Mack Brown is that good of a coach, but he can recruit and he's got the best job in college football. VY is a special talent and UT will be missing a lot when he leaves. UT will always have RB's because Texas has a lot of top RB's in high school. VY doesn't have to worry much about being down 14 because defenses can't totally stop him and UT has a murderer's row on defense.

I like Texas Tech and Houston. I'm not, and have never been, a Longhorn fan, but those boys are special this year and will win the national title. I hope they blow everybody away. I love my state and that means I root for teams like UT to beat the outside competition. Since UT is so good this year, I want them to finish the deal and be an all-time great.

For one year I'll be the biggest Longhorn fan I've ever been. The state of Texas needs a national title so all of the colleges benefit from it and the top recruits don't leave. The Southwest Conference fell apart because of corruption and limited TV appeal, but they were big time when they had a bunch of good teams. That's what I want to happen again and that starts with UT winning a national title.

All I know is that the Big 12 is pretty bad right now. I think they are 5th of the BCS conferences this year, and in general the last couple years they've been down.


They need to realign or something too. The North is a joke and a half.

Primetime, you're in trouble. You've got a grouchy old man in Go Owls against you and you picked on wide. I could go off on you too, but I won't. You really have to know who you're talking to. These guys DO know a lot about football. I have a bunch of posts on here, but I also make a point to read what they say because there is wisdom in there. Yeah, what they say about football knowledge is cocky, but it's true.

I talk a lot, too, but you have to remember we have pride and all of us worked hard to gain the knowledge we gained and don't like it when somebody questions us. I wouldn't go off if somebody said I was stupid and didn't know anything about football, but I'd internally question the sanity of the person who said it. You can expect to hear from a few other people, too.

Some of the most fervent fans for high school football post on here. We have casual fans, but we have a bunch of big-time fans, too. The big-time fans put a lot of effort into understanding the game. I haven't been to a game all year because I'm deployed in the Air Force, but I still know what's happening. I had a guy email me a report of the Judson-MacArthur game earlier. You can find out a bunch about sports in general if you read what people say on the forum. You get all the sports and can learn lessons in life, too.

I was once where you're at now. I used to make a lot of people mad at me, but most people like me, now. It took me getting used to the board and the board getting used to me. If you know something or feel strong about it, throw it out there and back it up. I'm not telling you to back down or cower because a more tenured person challenges you. All of us make mistakes and are wrong sometimes. I do know you won't make a lot of friends attacking the long-time posters.

We were actually discussing mostly how it sucked that we were attending THIS SLC game instead of our own games because our teams were both already OUT. We also decided that meant if we didn't feel like getting up every five minutes to see a play we didn't have to ...it was very liberating. Misery loves company.
