What would the playoff situation look like if, by chance, Cinco were to win this evening?

If by chance, and that's a very big chance, that Cinco beat Katy, then they would obviously beat Strake next week. That would give Cinco the 3rd play-off with a 4-2 district record and put them in D1.

Won't happen, though.

Cinco's running game stinks. They will have to resort mainly to the pass against one of the best secondaries in the area. Look for a couple of interceptions by Katy, maybe for scores. They will have to rely on their D to carry them and that didn't work with J. Taylor and it won't work tonite.

Don't get me wrong, I totally agree that this won't happen! I am very surprised Cinco has been able to win any games this season. Even their passing game is not near what it was last year.

I just hope Katy doesn't take so much out of the Cinco's sails that they can't come back and beat the jesuits next week. Althought stats don't show that K Taylor's D is the second best in district they are. Katy's O will drop Cinco's D down in the pack where it actually should be. K Taylor's D is the second best in district and Katy's O had no problem with it. Every year Cinco is supposed to have a passing attack and every year Katy all but shuts it down. Katy in a blowout.

I guess I'm surpised they haven't won more games. Cinco's defense is pretty good and I really thought their O would be better. They run a good offensive scheme.

I understand that McDermott (junior QB) broke his collar bone, so he won't play tonight. Beau Warren has been hobbled all year by a bum ankle so his mobility will be limited. Against a Katy D that runs to the ball very well, it probably adds up to a long night for the Cougars.

I never thought in my wildest dreams (last year) that Alief Taylor could beat Katy. Never under estimate and always respect your opponents.

You are right. I should have been a little more careful with my words.
In reality, anything can happen!
