I've been there and I don't know how. Lufkin people must be a lot thinner than Longview people! :D

Abe Martin has only 8796 for seating to sell tickets to fans, that is not counting the area the bands occupy on both sides which takes up a total of 1200 seats, that the fans could really use. Counting the paying fans, bands and the standing room only crowd, there will be approx. 10,500 at the Lufkin/Woodlands game tonight.

I thought they seated 17K at Grande. With a name like that, how do we know you're reliable? :p :D

Nobody in the state of Texas will beat the crowds in the Little Southwest Conference tonight.

Cooper vs. Abilene at Shotwell should have around 17,000 or so.

Lee vs. Midland at Grande should have crowds larger than 15,000.

Permian vs. Odessa at Ratliff should have a crowd of 20,000.

There will very easily be more than 50,000 people watching 3-5A football games tonight.

That’s why I inserted the link ;) – supporting my comment on facts. Of course tickets sold – from what I’ve seen so far - don’t mean a whole lot. Having their rear in the seats does! ;)
We’ll see. Good luck to all tonight!

Why don't they play those games next week? It doesn't make sense.

Old High needs to win to get in the playoffs. Rider wins they get the district title.

They use to play them the last game of the regular season. Years ago when Big Spring and San Angelo were in the district they always complained about the cross town rival games being last and they had to play each other. Eventually it was changed and has been that way for a long time now.

Crap, I'd make Big Spring and SAC play the last week even if all the other one's weren't rivalry games. It's like having the Rangers play the D'backs in a rivalry game. The Astros must play the Rangers.

In 2 weekends, SLC and ET will *PACK* Texas Stadium.

I can't wait. Even if it ends our run. I'll be sitting on ET's side for the rest of the playoffs if it goes down that way.

Our stadium is 16,000 seats which tonight we will probably have 7,000-8500 vs Mesquite Horn. We had 13,000 fans last week vs John Tyler.

by the way - love the compliment of being compared to UT but Euless starts with an E - so it is ET/SGP
