Asst. Principal Kristen Malone passed away this weekend. Young Kristen only 34 was the Asst. Princ. at Spring Woods H.S. She had been with this particular group of students for the last 4 yrs. They are Seniors now. Spring Branch I.S.D. at Spring Woods H.S. at 11:30am released it's Senior class and provided transportation to(on school busses)the 1st United Methodist Church in Sugar Land for the funeral services. The school choir sang, the principal talked on matters of faith, and of course there was lots of prayer. It was overwelmingly spectaclur, the demonstration of love the community put forth. I knew this woman personally and to see this kind of demonstration from her students and allowed by not only the school, but participation from the school and the District overall just makes me very grateful. It's ashame we have to be fearful of people who would file a lawsuit. Way to go S.B.I.S.D.

I second that! If anyone has the nerve to try and file a lawsuit against this school, then I would put them in the same class as the filthy terrorist that our country is dealing with today!
