Perhaps someone to make the top 25 of such a list may be Judson's Tony Harp. He did well last year, he's having a pretty good season so far this year near as I can tell, but he could probably be even better and also get the attention statewide and MAYBE nationally if the Rocket offense had been clicking a little better and hence putting less pressure on Harp and the rest of a pretty decent Defense.

Chris Ivory, RB, Longview
I have yet to hear or read any recruiting information on him. Nor have I heard any school offering. I doubt he is underrated by teams he faces, but I have yet to see this kid get respect from Rivals, scout.com, etc. etc.
ESPN did say though that someone forgot to tell Ivory that he isn't 50 pounds heavier.
Bradley Stephens-because he plays in the valley...

I need to state my affiliation as a Trinity Trojan fan and say its Quarterback Trevor Vittatoe who has phemomenal career numbers with 3,000 yds. passing 29 touchdowns and a completion perecentage of 63%. Out of the other teams i have seen in N. Texas this year it would be Grapevine receiver Taylor Wardlow who leads the area in receptions and at 6 foot 4 makes a nice target around the goalline.

Stephens is NOT underrated. The Sporting News said he is one of the best juniors in America!
try telling that to texas fans...LOL!
I know its just that a lot of folks on here keep giving the same excuse..which really dont speak for everyone but I think he should be given more credit..after all they asked for the best back not the best team...

Mandela Roberts (LB) from Lufkin, he doesn't get much recognition and he a SURE tackler.

I doubt he is underrated by the college recruits!! ;) I think he has like 70 plus tackles in 8 games with about 15-18 of those being for losses and at least 5 sacks and 1 int. This is in limited time due to the 2nd team being in for most of the 2nd half in the majority of their games. If he keeps it up i am sure he will be on one of the all state teams??

I'm pretty much done with the best at this position, or that position cuz those threads r full of homers including previously myself :D . I think it's fair to say that Trinity's skill position players this yr r underrated, their aided on the field by the best oline in the state, and burdened by them in the evaluation by others. It doesn't matter simply more motivation.

I agree, Chris is one that deserves a serious look - he is virtually impossible to tackle one on one. I also think, although kinda on the medium size (170 lbs), Cartez Beall (LV DB) deserve some consideration - I have never seen anyone that can hit like this young man, well . . . except in the NFL. Someone else that deserves more attention is Jackie Robinson at 4A Marshall . . . this young man is the real deal with size, strength and speed.

You would assume wrong . . . this is a good kid, with good grades and a good family background. Father is a businessman and president of East Texas Little League football, mother a police officer and they live in an upperclass neighborhood (i'd say a $300,000+ home at least).

Very quiet too. One of the teachers at the high school is a good friend of mine and he was his teacher and said he kept quiet in class and did his work. His mother is a good woman too...Very good police officer.

Maybe because he's second gun...who knows?
I'm sure by seasons end he'll have some looks. I heard Auburn was interested though.
