Well, I'm back. I got pushed back to May 12th for Bootcamp now because to military obviously finds it ammusing to play games with me. It's pretty much a big game of "hurry up and wait"

anyways, I know this was posted somewhere on here already over a month ago but I can't find it. This little online simulator thing is a pretty fun thing to do while we're bored in the offseason. You create a player or players, decide their personal attributes, equipment,etc..then find a team and play. You get better over the course of the thing by gaining experience points and boosting your players. Games are every other day and it's pretty easy to play, yet fun enough to keep you interested. I was on a team that won the championship this past season, which was pretty cool and it's something to do when you're bored out of your mind(like myself just sitting around waiting to leave AGAIN).

The thing is booming. There are message boards for the league and individual teams(which now amount to 1024) and on my team we got guys from all over europe,the US, and even brazil. It's interesting getting into football talk with some of these guys. It simulates your games but after the game you can watch the replays of every play. The replays arent anything like madden but it is still cool to watch. If you have any other questions just ask in our Team forum.....There are a bunch of us that can answer anyquestion you might have.

If anyone else wants to join, I need some OLBs on the pretty solid team that I am D coordinator for, and my other team is brand new and being built from the ground up and we need pretty much everything on defense. But I'm the OC on that one and I need Offensive Tackles, a TE, a FB, and depth at WR

Last season I was on a pro-league championship team, but then the owner signed his friend who was some real high level player and was now going to start in front of me. And since this is a game and not real life I asked to be traded so I'd still get playing time somewhere else since my guy is pretty darn good

You should buy flex points and bump your guy up to level 4:D JK Today or tommorrow is the last day that you can boost 3 levels....once the season starts you can boost another 3 levels.

I never thought I would buy flex points but I became obsessed with this game.

I never thought I would buy flex points but I became obsessed with this game.

hahaha I've been trying to refrain from buying any. I thought I would be in bootcamp right now so I was like screw it I'll only be playing shortly there's no point. But now that I got moved back to May 12th and I don't have ANYTHING to do all day, this help with my boredom. Now I'm like crap I want to boost my player I guess I have to buy some. It's fun being a GM and trying to sign players though. I feel like a damn college recruiter trying to convince kids to come to my team.

However, I may not be needing to buy those FPs after all. I've gotten about 7 or 8 referrals through this thread so I should be getting some free flexies here soon :D I'm sneaky

Yea...well 3 of us are on another team together who were in the conference championship last year. About 13 of our starters come from 3 users. That is crazy that we are in the same league.

the next season starts Saturday, and the games are every other day. How you set your players attributes and tactics, combined with how the coordinators set the overall team strategy play out in how you'll influence the overall outcome of the game. The team you picked seems to be pretty active and communicates well. I'm sure before each game they'll post what they want their certain posistion players to do and what to work on between games. Following the "coach's" requests will help make your player exceed as much as possible. The more you play, the more experience points you get and you can level up and increase your attributes accordingly. After each game it'll give you your game stats and update your season stats...you can go back and look at the play by play and watch each play individually and watch how you performed during the game. Like foosball said, it ain't Madden, but it's fun nonetheless.

Here is a guide to what attributes are key to making your player good at each given posistion. Follow it and you'll be successful

The next season is supposed to begin in two days. The Owner of the team controls game tactics. He can pass that job onto other players if they want to be Offensive coordinators or defensive coordinators.

It is like real football...you study the other teams game films to make a game plan...of course there is nothing to study yet since the season hasnt started.

You dont influence the game as a player....the game is simulated. It will tell you all of the stats after the game is simulated.
