In the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, i would direct you to this link to see the best in the metroplex that include:

Sergio Kindle - My personal favorite
Clint Renfro - One of the best uncommitted players
Eddie Jones - The best D lineman in the state
Adron Tennell - Maybe the most gifted receiver in Texas

All 4 of these above are listed in the rivals 100

Best of the rest

Dimitri Nance - A statistical machine
Christian Ponder - the best dual threat QB in North Texas
Joe Mauro - Gifted both physically and mentally (4.0 GPA)
Jordan Pugh - One of the best all around athletes in the state
etc...

I don't think that Renfro is in the Rivals 100

dragon football fan i stand corrected, i always think of him as one of the best but i guess his size precludes him from being highly regarded. The funny thing is that last year only Jammal Charles beat Renfro in the 400 meter hurdles so we know he's fast enough to be included as one of the best just not tall enough. The road of great players in the history of football is lined with players that weren't regarded as tall enough - Barry Sanders, Zach Thomas,Mike Singletary, etc...

THANKS! I once was lonny22 on some ezboards, but it wouldn't let me globally use it anymore and I switched to lonny23 about 3 years ago. Now, somebody I don't know picked 24. That's cool! :D

I don't even like 23 and 22 is my favorite number.

I just made sure I got 22 since it's my favorite number. I like clones, but I don't want them to take my number!

300 M in HS.

I hope Clint gets a chance to run 400M @ the next level, in conjunction with FB!

Trojan Horse,

"yet Dimitri's nothing more than a stat hawg" those are your words not mine.

I was keeping my comments short (like clint renfro). Seriously i think the Trojan fans (of which i am one) are getting a little hypersensitive about any comparisons to Carroll. Some of my other threads have been along the lines of Dimitri Nance being one of the most underrated players in Texas - at least by D1 colleges. I wouldn't trade him for any other back in the state and i've seen most of the good ones, except for Mcgee and Stephens!

fine stat machine. i think its so obvious as well that clint renfro is still underrated because hes a cluth performer whos pressance does impact the game but i just happen to think people whiff on nance too. I apologize about any disrespect.
