The Rockets while playing like complete crap in the first half are only down by 6 at half time. They need to quit running the pick and roll they have gotten absolutely nothing off of it all night. The Jazz have had no answer for their back door cuts all night they need to run less pick and roll and get more off ball movement. The lack of calls in the paint against the jazz is amazing me. Completely blatant fouls are not being called. The Rockets should be thankful to be in this game, they better pick it up in the second half or they're chances of winning this series go down big time.

let's see here.. jazz are dominating the paint, being more physical, and owning the offensive glass...

and we let folks say Yao didn't matter...

With they way they're shooting the ball tonight, Yao definitely wouldn't matter.

yao would have mattered with the way the Jazz just did as they pleased inside. It was embarassing how the disrespected and abused the Rockets inside. He doesn't block a ton of shots, but changes a lot of shots. His inside shooting is one of the best cures for a shooting slump, too.

playoff basketball is a different animal. Guard play also hurt tremendously, and Skip's absence was also missed tremendously. Can any Rocket fan believe we'd be saying that at this point? 6 months ago we were trying to figure out any way to get rid of Mr. Alston, but he has definitely come into his own on the court.
