WHEN Tomball beats Cy-Falls, i think they're the darkhorse with a chance to get out the first round this year. They beat the best team in the district (Cy-Fair) earlier in the year, giving them there only loss. The only thing that stops Tomball is Tomball, not what other teams do. Every loss has been due to bad mental preperation before the games, with the exception being Cy-Creek who had a great gameplan coming in to the game.

9 posts Scout Teamer huh - where were you 2 weeks ago? :) Reminds me of all the band wagoners that came out of the woodwork after the Astros won. We'll get you guys in baseball again though!! Gosh that was a fun game out at Tomball last year!! Just remember before you gloat too much - it is out of your hands. JV just has to win to be in the playoffs if I'm not mistaken. You have to hope they lose to get in.

Well, I'm not going to "gloat" but the three teams officially going to playoffs are:

Cy Fair (District Champs - CONGRATULATIONS Bobcats)
Cy Creek
Cy Falls

ALL Cy Schools - Good luck to all three and represent well.

We will be playing my old high school's super nemesis, Memorial Mustangs - guess I'll have to wear my Cy Falls shirt with a Spring Branch hat or something for old times sake!! Can't wait for that one - even though I have nothing but the utmost respect for Coach Koch over at Memorial - have know him for a long time and he is a heck of a guy (and coach).

We never lost to Spring Branch while I was playing at Spring Woods.....69, 70.

Playing Memorial will bring back some memories.

Happy for the Falls kids, especially those seniors that thought last Thursday was their last time they would put on their pads.

They will get another chance and lets see what they do with it.

And you are correct - I WAS wrong - I was listening to TSRN say they were the sole district champs and then I looked at the records and realized they were Co-Champs...Congratulations to the Cougars as well and best of luck in the playoffs!!! :D Go get em!!

Cy-Fair is the Co Champ only if you are being politically correct! Cy-Fair defeated Cy-Creek so, at least in my view (which means nothing of course!) Cy-Fair is THE district champion.
