The final book (Confessor) was finally released and I have just finished it. Terry Goodkind has created a modern fable about good and evil that is equal to Tolkein. In many ways, better.

If anyone else read this series, tell me how you liked the ending. I liked it. Thought it fit right in with the whole story. I am hoping for more when the two principals have children, etc.

Oh, come on. I can't believe NONE of you guys have read this series. I bet a lot of you would like it.

Start with "The Sword of Truth" by Terry Goodkind. Should be easy to find in a used bookstore.

Get back to me after you read it. There will be a test.

:D

I read up until pillars of creation. For some reason i just cant get started on that book, read the first 100 pages over and over and over and just cant get into it.

I like them pretty well though, i would say Goodkind is in my favorite authors category along with Robert Jordan, Melanie Rawn, George R. R. Martin, and Tad Williams
Richard is a little to good a character for me, but besides that like the series.

I can understand the frustration with Pillars. Basically they are people born without the spark of magic. None whatsoever. Jensen is Richar's sister by another mother and Darken Raul.

That's about all you need to know. That and Richard does indeed, have flaws. Later. Much later, but they are flaws. Go to the next book.....
