A possible game of the week right here. Our two powerhouses in 28-5A go head to head this week with the winner being the most likely recipent of the district championship and the slot in DI or DII playoff berth. Both teams are 3-0 in district although Caroll has a "more impressive" record rather to say than Memorial. Caroll (7-0) vs Memorial (3-4) is a matchup to watch this week.

Memorial has been upbeat after coming off 4 tough non-district loses to contenders in the playoffs and have high hopes for the post-season. With the rejuvenated offense and an impressive defense to back them up this is one game not to miss.

If anyone has any comments about this upcoming game at Memorial Stadium this Friday feel free to leave them here, but a little note to all, "Don't fret that's the way it's supposed to be".

Ahh, nothing like a district rivalry, huh? I think that this game could go either way but I'll take Memorial by 3 points. This is one of the districts that I have the least knowlegde about so I may be way wrong. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Finally another Victoria fan!! I have been one of the only Victoria fans on here for the past 5 years! I graduated from VHS in 2000 before consolidation.

Carroll may be 7-0 but their non-district opponents were weak!!! I think the Vipers can take 'em out if they come ready to play!

I am actually driving to Victoria for this game. I have not been to a Carroll game in years and they are our biggest rivals. I hated them when I was in HS. LOL

Glad to see we got a person from out of town. As a football player (not a fan) I come on here to be friendly and respect the opinions of others. I am not on here to bash and humiliate other people but to show others in the state that this year that Victoria Memorial High School is serious. You have all great points and I will not say if we will win or lose, although the confidence in our team, in our community (yes you bandwagoners), and others is going to support us in this game. We will not hold our heads up to dry as we are all glorified, but to come out in unison and to dominate. Two great days of practice and one left before the big game starts Friday night.

Anyways good night to all and good luck to CC Carroll.

Yeah we are ready. Great week of practice and should get a good show down. Our avg o-line weight is about 265 lbs or so. Anyways great week of practice, another big game for us, and relaxation for the next two days. Will be quite a game and hopefully the crowd will be louder than what it is sometimes.
