A thread on Orangebloods.com got me thinking of the best dunkers I've ever seen...
Anybody remember Melvin Levett, former SG for Cincinnati?
Oh, to be 6'2 and have a 42'' vertical (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qk9Axy6NdE)

Shawn Kemp aka the Reignman is my favorite dunker of all-time. He would throw it down with authority!! Him and Gary Payton were the best alley-oop combo of all time.
My favorite Kemp dunk(i could watch this clip a million times)

I completely agree, and to me it's not even close. He's just so creative on his dunks.
For as much as I love Lebron, I think he could be the most overrated. All he ever seems to do is throw it down with unbelievable elevation and power, while Carter would do a 360 or between the legs or something.

I couldn't agree more. I can remember all the hype about Lebron and being sooo excited to watch him in the HS slam dunk contest. All he did was jump as high as he could and throw it down....He can straight FLY but he's got nothing on the great dunkers in the league.

The ones I like the most are the ones where they miss and bust their butts. Not seriously hurt, but just enough to embarassed.
The kid from North Crowley is off to a good start. He's fun to watch when playing Midland Lee.:)
