In high school sports, anything can happen. What appears to be a slam dunk is not always the way it goes. I was sure SGP would beat MAC and should have. So go figure.

no, you are thinking of the NFL where anything can happen. in high school sports, Grapevine does not beat Carroll.

Actually no, one year Bryan #1 in state played Trinity and ET won 14-13, then later in playoffs ET played Permian #1 at that time and ET won 8-7.
ET didn't go to state because they played Bell (the other school in our ISD) and Bell advanced on penetrations. There was no overtime then. So yes anything can happen.

I think everyone agrees with your statement. SLC won't see anyone that can keep up with them until the playoffs. The only question that 5A football fans have right now is if SLC is going DI or DII - :cool: :cool: :D
