I have never been there. I have had their food catered though and it was really good. It's been awhile so I need to make a trip on down to Euless Main Street and swing by North Main BBQ.

I was passing this place in Colleyville http://maps.google.com/maps/place?hl=en&rlz=1W1ADSA_en&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=bar+b+que+colleyville+texas&fb=1&gl=us&hq=bar+b+que&hnear=colleyville+texas&cid=14324908089558169086 and thought I'd stop for some barbque. Heavens it was worse than Dickies!!! And was way over priced for the measly servings it gave me for $13.00 ribs plate. The sliced meat plate for $11.00 was horribly dry, and none of it tasted smoked
The sweet barbque sauce almost made me hurl - it tasted like straight honey. Mac Salad had waaaay to much mayo and he coleslaw was the only decent thing on the plate.
Once you eat at N.Main, it spoils you

There is always OC Burgers. It may not qualify as a real restaurant but it was one of my favorite places to eat lunch my senior year at Trinity. My friends and I would go there every monday.

Used to be a North main groupie as well, but must admit that Feedstore in Southlake has 'em beat. Still, North Main is a good place.

I've heard varying opinions regarding both. pantherfan and farmerfan are opposing oppinions regarding the 2. I will need to try the feedstore out sometime

Where is the feedstore at in Southlake?
About a quarter of a mile south on White's Chapel Road from the intersection with Southlake Blvd (FM 1709) in Southlake. Large White's Chapel Methodist Curch will be on the left as you turn onto White's Chapel and the Feedstore will be but a curve in the road away on your right.

The most frustrating thing about N.Main is they're open only 2.5 days a week (sundays 11-4). Is the feedstore similar with it's operating hours?

No, while N. Main is attached to a trucking company, Feedstore is a full time restaurant with a catering business as well. So the Feedstore is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.

N.Main's value is tough to beat tho. $13.00 all you can eat is unheard of for quality BBQ.

I'd hope not. I don't know how they could afford to pay the upkeep and rent on the property otherwise.

This is true, but they still get good traffic. I went last friday close to closing and they had a full house. Their brisket is to die for. I had to tell them I didn't want lean tho. I was cringing as I watched them throw away all the juicy fat.

Honestly I havn't eaten the buffet lately. Usually I buy take out so I can go home and take my time. I notice their food fills me up quickly and I get better value buying the meat by the pound - which $14.00 for a whole rack of ribs and $8.00 for a lb of sliced meat is incredible value
Trojanalum693
05-14-2010, 04:15 AM

I have been to Smitty's in Lockhart, that was pretty amazing.. I haven't been to Kreuz's yet..
Jaime's is a mexican place across the street from Stubb's on Red River near downtown. Great place to go get a pitcher of margaritas, and the food is really good. That has turned into my friends go to place in Austin
