you can't just jump from 4-12 to the top of the Big XII, no matter how many guards you have lined up to play.

Well I guess Baylor can jump to the top of the Big 12 (tied for 4th)... anyways, here is the video clip of Scott Drew on PTI this afternoon in case anyone missed it.

I am so happy for Baylor. I used to go watch them play at the Heart of Texas Coliseum back when Vinny Johnson played there. :D

You seriously kept that? Listen, I will admit that I am surprised by how well Baylor did this season, but tied for 4th means you're one of the top 5 teams in a 12 team conference. It's the upper part, but certainly not the level that KU or TX is at.

Of course because I knew I was right... and not many teams in the country are at the level of KU and Texas.... they are arguably 2 of the top 5 teams in the nation. Next year, with everyone back minus Bruce, we might be in that upper part of the Big 12.....

we lost by 11 to a Purdue team that is ranked #18 in the country... we didn't show up in the first half... it happens. Whether you like it or not, Baylor Basketball is back, and well contend for a Big 12 title next season.

Bruce, Hurd, and Shepard are the only Seniors that we lose... so from that group, we don't lose much. We have two posts signees coming in during the fall in Valov and Jones who will be impact players, balancing our offensive attack. Kansas will lose a few to the draft. KState will lost their entire offensive production (Beasley and Walker). Texas w/o DJ is not a Big 12 contender. It makes perfect sense. I am not saying that we will win a title, but I think we can make a serious run at winning the Big 12.
