Thanks for the good words. We can get our share of hooliganism on here, but for the most part I believe it's a good place to talk football with very knowledgeable fans who love their team. Thank goodness PurplePassion and YourNextLover decided the new board wasn't worth it.

Dude, you are so true....I came from a website (and Texas Headliner can vouche for this) where we had people like that....and if you spoke out against them you were banned.

the best thing about this site, is that it's state wide and we can read about alot of teams that our local papers would never report on...we get the chance to see who's the stud palyer at different schools
most of the other sites are regional in nature and it seems that after awhile you are talking over and over to the same six or seven people....
There is also not nearly as much trash talk on this board, does'nt matter that Cove is gonna spank aCm's *** this friday, and Tigerland Stadium, after this game, will forever be known as "Copperas Cove Bulldawg's Dawg Pound of College Station"

But really though. When I first surfed here I figured it would be like the rest of the punk sites I'd been too.. I was wrong.. So I decided to hang around. I have even found that I pick Texas teams in Pick'em better than I do the teams in my own home state.
Nobody in Louisiana can seem to get it together like it is here..I would invite some of them over here, but I see where ignorant riff-raff really isn't wanted..
Why I get to stay is beyond me? :confused:

All in all, everybody here has made me feel welcome in one way or another and it has made this football season (my first away from my beloved ECA) much more easy to deal with. Ok, there was that one guy that sent me that really foul p.m. But I kind of asked for it.. He knows who he is.. :eek:

Well crap.. Somebody's about to seriously screwed.. I don't use credit cards. After the divorce, I got all that cleared up and it's easier to pay cash for everything. Besides, it would be more than that anyway. I have posted some long ones here. Also, as of the last post, it ended on an odd number (3) so it couldnt be .50. It would have been .18. Do they not teach much up there? :p

We have vultures around here. I think a few people camp out and lurk and they say something as soon as I post. Redskins and Dragons08 practically live in off-topic. Wide hangs out. I can always count on Mad being on when nobody else is. Wide is a late-night guy. I go on a posting spree sometimes. You've been hanging out here a lot. Pack is steady because he has a lot of posts, but you don't always see him.

I try to stay away from the worst because it makes people mad. I don't even like telling guys I think they're terrible because it can make them mad.
