Longview will have to play some real teams when they get in the playoffs. I am surprised that Rockwall played them as close as they did. I cant wait to see Lufkin/Longview game again, how many is it 8 in a row.

lufkin needs to worry about TW and LV about North Mesquite......i really don't think anyone is worried about that POSSIBLE game yet......pray Mesquite Horn loses its last two games or it wont happen, LV goes D1...........

King, you don't want a shot at LP? The best case scenario for Lview is for SLC to go D1 and us go D2. After last year's game you have to feel good about the Lufkin game this year. Just my opinion.

BigArab. That's terrible. Baby likes to go watch football with me.. She has a really good understanding of what's going on with the game as well. But her priorities in life do not revolve around football. Which is fine.. Mostly...

We were in Plattsville (or something like that, close to Houston) at the TexasRenFest over the weekend. Our Hotel was in the Klein school district. I know this because a sign a yard said "Klein blah blah".
We passed by some school on 290 that was one of they Cy's. A really nice looking school. When looking at it, it was one of those buildings that makes you think about people being all scholarly and learning things.. Was really kinda kool...

It all depends on the game when she'll suddenly get enthusiastic. She went to Tech (bleh) so anytime there is a game on for them, she wants me to watch it with her. She too, has a decent understanding. When it comes to HS Football, she doesn't care. Maybe when our kiddies are grown and the two boys are playing will she share in the affection. Lol.

Grrr...I hate Houston, I had to drive through there yesterday. Mapquest is horrible and I want to blow up their server. They gave me the absolute wrong directions. I'm in the northern part of Houston next to the Hardy Tollway thinking "Wait....this doesn't look like where I need to be at all."

I'm not a big fan of Houston either. But every time I go, I have the best time. I don't go unless it's for something pretty kool though. This weekend was one of those times.. We did mapquest and had no issues.. This time.. But I generally take what they give and what my mapbook gives and kind of jumble it to make sense of it.. Plus, Baby drives and I navigate.. Works out well.
