Here I go..... let the remarks begin. lol. All I have to say is DAMN TECH, GET A NEW PUNTER!!!! Also... DOWN THE BALL IN THE ENDZONE WHEN IT IS INTERCEPTED!!!

Ok with that out of the way... UT wins the national championship.

I was at the game in the Tech section... and Tech looked to give it a fight, but after 2 quick mistakes by tech, you turn around and UT is up by 21.

I have never seen tailgating like UT fans. Very neat atmosphere.

Overall, the UT fans were nice.... cocky, but nice. I guess they have a reason to be now. lol.

I too doubted UT's Defense.... congrats.

VY In my opinion should not get the heisman. I think he should get like MVP, but I think Heisman is out for Bush. VY just did not impress me that much.

I think Tech will be ok, we did have more total yards than UT, ( I told yall this.... Tech will march up and down the field... the question is would they score) I am hoping Tech can get past BU, OSU, A&M, and OU to take 2nd place....10-1, and head to the Cotton Bowl against a good SEC team.

Overall great game by the Horns. And here is to UT winning the NC, and to Tech winning out to come back close to the top 10!

Now that I am back on the board,,, all the horns can make fun now. Atleast I was not one of the wons predicting a win, I just thought we could score some more, lol.

Personally, I think you guys will win out.

Regarding VY, I can see why you would think that after that game. He was noticeably off from the level he's been playing at most of the season. I agree with your MVP thought, though...he would definitely win that award.

I called you out after the game on Saturday, something about crow but I have to say I am impressed with your comments. I hope that Tech wins out if for nothing of course to help my horns and I think that you will. I am impressed with the yardage gained but I always have believed that the more you put the ball up the more chances things can go wrong: and when they did they went wrong in bunches.
Nothing would please me more than to see you put 50 on OU.

Ya....I hope you guys win out.....BUT, I'll be pulling for my OU Sooners! They struggled against a talented Baylor defense....(wow...did I just put talented and Baylor in the same sentence?!!).....but I expect OU to try and get better! And I see plenty of depth coming back next year!!

Ahhh, da**........dawg not you!!! OU is not very good, right now, but I can name several teams they would destroy!....Which is about 85% of the teams in DI!

And I can remember, not to long ago, when UT stunk like pure cow doo-doo!! They were laughed at when it came time to play AGGY!!!

And OU is the last team to have won the National Title, out of the Big XII(2000)!!

Nebraska in the 80's and 90's(3) and Colorado 1990 (1)! Followed by OU winning 2 more in the 80's!!

Are TCU and Baylor part of those 85%? oh wait one beat OU and the other almost did and definitely did not get destroyed. I would put both of those teams in the bottom 85% of D1 which is teams ranked 18-117. I doubt that Oklahoma would destroy the number 18-40 teams

Texas is one heck of a team. I really didn't believe that it would get this bad. They deserve all the kudos in the world for coming out and simply dominating every stage of the game. I don't hink they should have the number one spot though, simply because the defending champ USC deserves it until they lose a game. However, I think the Longhorns would beat the Trojans if they played this Saturday.

However, if at the end of the year Tech's only loss is 52-17 to the eventual National Champion, then I will consider it a great success, if not a smashing one.

Don't worry, football junkie. If Tech does manage to claw their way back into the top ten, the rest of the country will get another chance to prove their unworthiness in the bowl game. It will surely be either the Cotton Bowl (most likely) or the Fiesta Bowl (pleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease.....).

Regardless of which bowl a 10-1 Tech team gets, they will face a highly ranked opponent from a BCS conference. Last year an UNRANKED Tech team faced a team that supposedly outclassed them in every way and handed them their butts, at a bowl game that was for all intents and purposes a home game for them. We'll see what happens this year.

Right now I'm not ready to pencil in 10-1 just yet. Tech teams have had a way of collapsing spectacularly in the past. Leach's teams, so far, have done well in games they were supposed to win. Let's hope we get past OSU, Baylor, Aggie, and OU unscathed.

Crap I can't wait till next year when Tech starts playing a more reasonable non-conf. schedule. We will finally have games agaisnt opponents that will earn more respect than D-1AA, but will avoid suicidal one game series perennial national championship contenders.

Firebird, I still don't get the concept that UT fans want to bash the other teams in the state. At the end of the day, they should be glad Texas teams win and play good. Why root for somebody like South Carolina?
