Does anyone have a idea on the record for FG in a season is for 5A football. I know the Lufkin Kicker has 10 so far this year, and Lufkin kicker from a couple of years ago was one off from beating the record, but cant remember what the record was. Plus the Lufkin kicker is only a Junior.

I know Stephen Coker of Lufkin either tied the record or had an opportunity to do so....can't remember if he did or not. I think he is an aggy now...

He tied the record and was wondering how many he had that season. I was at the state game when he tied the record.

I think the main requirement would be to play 15 or 16 games.

I'm not sure this is a record a team should necissarily be proud of,...but maybe thats just me.... :(

it isn't always a loss to go for the fg. slc's kickers along with many others provide a potent weapon and coaches all over would love to think they could get points just by getting to the other teams 30 yd line.

You always need a clutch Kicker look at SLC last in the Championship game.
