What team do yall think has the best set of linebackers? I'll have to go with Lufkin, just beacuse of the experience and speed we have returning with Mandela Roberts, Stuart Willis, Erick Taylor and many more moving up from the JV squad last year to add more depth and speed to this already quick, hard hitting squad.

Smithson Valley will have good linebackers next year with returning starters Mykel Kovar and Kendall Volz and Jarod Burnes(who backed up joe last season)..fast athletic group that will be one of the best in the state.

I don't remember Kovar in the title game.

Coppell's Josh Mayo....2003 7-5A All District, 7-5A New Comer of the year, 7-5A Defensive linemen of year. Sat out all last season with broken sholder, will return this year as a line back, man does he look good for this season...Cant wait till I see him tomorrow at the spring game

of course i am biased and of course i only know so many teams linebackers but i will have to agree that lufkin should have a great lb tandem. m roberts should be one of the best if not the best in the state. along with a very fast play maker in eric taylor and a very solid lb in stewart willis. joe jackson has a chance to be very good also and will play significant time. i do not even know about the new guys that came up from jv.

Longview has a couple good ones back...Kelcie Oliver and Tony Johnson to go with newcomer Antajun Guinn (5'11 200 4.6).

I don't remember Kovar in the title game.

He was #31. If I remember correctly he got a sack on the second defensive play of the game that had the SLC sideline/stands dead silent. But then again we all know how the game ended up
