This election is going to be pretty darn close. Obama has the charisma to win over the AWM vote - McCain does not have the charisma to win over anyone - but he will still probably get most of these votes - he just won't get any other votes because the man can't win over his base.

If Barack can reign in his wife's comments - I think he may win it all.

Obama may have charisma, but the substance( or lack therof) in his statements are a total turn-off.

I was surprised to see so many YOUNG WHITE WOMEN at the the Obama rally yesterday in Dallas.

A lot of young people in general.

I bet most of them didn't even have to ask off work...

Is it that surprising that the guy would appeal to the idealistic( younger folks) when he floods his speech with utopian rhetoric with no pragmatic answers other than to take from those who are achieving something and giving it to those who do nothing?

All I hear is change, change this, change that...it's kind of like the old "I can do this, I can do that..how am I gonna do that?" Broken record..lot of words saying nothing...

Obama is certainly a pretty good speaker, but then so are a whole lot of corporate motivational speakers. And they come at a lot less cost. Until the man puts forth some real content in those speeches, I just can't go along with him. But I would agree that he at least has the potential to learn and to develop as a president far more than another Clinton. But his "change, change, change" is simply devoid of content. I'm not yet mad, just irritated.

I don't think the term "once you go black you never go back" has anything to do with the Presidential election.

I hope the ladies have realized they won't get the 'perks' of having a black man in control just because he becomes President.

If you people can't tell that half the things I say on here are in jest then I must be doing something wrong.

I've used them on occasion, but I'm not a big fan of smileys.

Seriously though, y'all aren't giving me enough credit if you really believe I think white women will vote for Obama because he may have a huge

Does that smiley help get my point across?

I think McCain will hold his ground, and the Repubs will probably come around. I think this will be as tight as Gore-Bush.

Let's all move to Florida.

Everyone has their reasons, and I would hope everyone who is voting for Obama isn't even considering his race as a voting issue in the same way I don't want people voting for Billary just because she is a woman.

I thought you were an Obama fan, why wouldn't you vote for him?

I'm not a Dem by any means but I'll be voting Obama on March 4 to do my part for a Clinton-free White House.

Why do you think Obama appeals to the AWM? The true fact is that probably none of the candidates do.

And I (along with a LOT of my conservative friends) will be voting for Hillary in the primary to help ensure a DEMOCRAT-free Oval Office come next January.

All the polls say that McCain (I'll be holding my nose in November) has a better chance at beating Hillary than Obama.

If you vote for hillary then you might as well roll out the welcome mat for McCain. IMO

He appeals to the younger voters. Anyone whos followed this presidential candidacy knows that. Did you think he was getting all those votes from minorities?

that was my point. I may not like McCain, but I definitely don't care for Obama and his change, change, change, (change what?) message.
