Why would he waste a year of his eligibility when we have such depth? Jerrell is arguably the 2nd most talented back on Texas' roster, but he hasn't picked up pass protection like Jamaal did, therefore he will redshirt while Jamaal plays right away...pretty simple really.

Any fact you bring up regarding Mack being a "weasal" would be the first. He is one of the most genuine people in sports.

That UT squad is a special team. I think they can go down as one of the all-time greats. I know UT hasn't had a team like this since 1983 and this one is probably better. It might be the best UT team of all time and probably the best in the last 40 years.

Honestly, I don't like alot of his press conferences (especially after losses), because sometimes I just want to hear him say, "Our guys didn't play well, we didn't coach well, we didn't do anything well" but he's not that type of coach...he refuses to throw his players under the bus and he protects them at all costs. Does that really make him a weasel though? To me, although frustrating at times, that makes him an extremely caring and thoughtful man. His only fault is that sometimes he's too nice. There's not another coach I would rather have representing my school, however.

He does protect the players and that's why I always thought he lost games. It's like he didn't hold them accountable for playing bad. I guess you're going to sound like a weasel if you don't want to bad mouth your players before the media.
