That really wasn't necessary, was it? But you must be talking about basketball, in which case who cares? If you dont have an answer to my question, that's fine....but dont be a gloating winner on another subject for another board.

That's a shame......he seemed kinda cool at first. I guess I was wrong in thinking so. Oh well, no love lost here. At least WB beat his Wildcats in football, where it really matters.:D

Very strong schedule. IKe, WF and Katy in nondistrict is no picnic. Then comes a rough district.

Very strong schedule. IKe, WF and Katy in nondistrict is no picnic. Then comes a rough district. The only team in district that will be a real problem will be North Shore. That tough preseason schedule should prepare West Brook for any type of team that they will face throughout the regular season and the playoffs. Good luck to your Mustangs.....your preseason schedule is no picnic, either!

Katy, Westfield, Ike, and North Shore? Now that's a schedule! If they come out of it 8-2, put the Bruins in the state quarters.

I believe it would be realistic to think that West Brook could come out of the regular season 7-3, or maybe even 8-2. Either way, that type of schedule will definitely prepare us for the caliber of teams that we will see in the playoffs. I honestly expect to go at least three to four rounds deep.........as long as we can stay healthy! We wont go undefeated next year, but we'll win some big games.;)

i caution those that take this offer. The initiation into the "Gang" involves 6 legs violently kicking your rib cage. They offer you a hot dog, and the next thing you noticed is your face in the ground with 5 New balances kicking your side, with one pair of Jordans jumping on your back.

LMAO! Are you speaking from experience? I'm learning, as we speak, that the game may not have the hype that we think. I have learned just a few minutes ago that our HC, Craig Stump, may be a finalist for the new HC job at Lamar University and, obviously, we might be losing him. So whoever our potential new HC may be, will have very little time got get acclimated to his team. These may be just be rumors, but I got my info from a reliable source. You guys are the first to know.:cry I'm not reading anything into it just yet, but I'm worried!

I wouldn't be to worried, Stump has turned the program around from its slump...so it would be a desirable position. Guys like David Suggs, and Larry Neumann are looking to make moves...and one of them or both of them won't get the LaMarque job...id bet a pretty penny id be one of them two if Stumps were to leave. But, its just rumor at this point...Stump may not be going anywhere...i don't think he gets it.

But I know he made the "short list" of the applicants and he has an interview scheduled sometime within the next week. Hopefully he's not going anywhere.

He is a finalist on the LaMarque list...i think he would rather have a job where they are saying their will be a noticeable increase in pay...and the talent to win Championships.
Westbrook or Lamarque would be an upgrade.

Westbrook or Lamarque would be an upgrade. He WAS a finalist on the LM list. It's official, Newmann IS staying in Nederland, as of tonight. Apparently, NISD wanted him to stay pretty bad....$$$$$$$! This from the PANews http://www.panews.com/sports/local_story_092221747.html?keyword=topstory Apparently about 92,000 reasons to stay in Nederland!
