well it was a little of both,the whole week of practice we took belton very lightly,we were expecting a blowout early in the game,and also their defense is much better than we expected them to be,they move to the ball very quickly but they arent that good in the secondary positions, but anyways we got the win and are ready to play cove for the championship, and then BRYAN VIKINGS!!!!!!

Advice for the a&m def.coor. ------- put 9 men in the box and dare cove to throw,unless # 81 is in the game.this way you have a chance to stop buckram and garner and the pass is not a viable threat.this is your only chance.there are 2 receivers i would not even cover.hope they throw to them!

#81 Is alphonso powell, i know him well from hurdles in track,i heard that he's a pretty good athlete, we will be prepared to shut him and cove down

he is the only true receiver cove has but he only plays about 2 or so plays a game on off.you do not have to worry about the rest of the rec.I promise you.if you are on the field and want to see something funny,watch the rec. get their butts chewed out by the coaches and the qb for dropping passes.you had better stop #32 and # 5 though.stop the run,you win,period

Powell plays more than 2 off plays a game, Wheeler #4 is a possesion reciever where he usually catches 5-10 yard curls and Darrel Armstrong can catch also, just ask Judson with 4 seconds left

Brent only threw 8 passes and completed 5, sure Hawks dropped one, but a flag on play against Cove moved them back, and then Cove ran the SAME play again on 1st and 30 to go and Hawks got it for a 50+ yrd TD......And the newest weapon is the HB pass from Buckram worked against Waco, but good play by Waco DB to run Hawks down and strip ball, Worked like a dream against Shoe 2 guys wide open,,this time TD. Cove has a passing game, just never really has to use it.
Go ahead and put 9 in the box, Brent will light it up if they do


Check you clocks, reality is coming to Tigertown Oct 28th, Consol goes down and has to worry about Bryan and avoiding a 3 way tie for 2nd

If your corners ran 4.3's they would be on the other side of the ball. That must mean your wides run 4.2's or better

well if so that isnt the case for us,no we dont have a reciever that runs a 4.2 but lewis can run a 4.4

Offense had their worst game of the year last night. Defense did a great job. No continuity for the Offense. Starting QB couldn't hit a receiver in the first half. Poor play calling at times as well.

2nd half we put the QB that came in and won the HH game last week. He is a much faster runner, and his passes were better.

Belton's D line was very quick and I have to give them some credit for the disruptions.

Worst Offensive outing of the year IMHO. Hopefully we got that out of our system and play better next week.

Powell does'nt play offense so you don't have to worry about it. Powell will be shutting down your offense.
