they have the worst receiving corps in the state,bar none.They drop more passes than they catch and a good defense,like Wacos,will stop their run and they can't pass cause they can't catch.Their qb is an accurate passer.They will get beat in the first round unless they can fix this problem.Their secondary had more receptions( 3 pics) than their offense.

well....mmmm...thats a really smart post....just cause he dropped a possible TD pass....big deal....he came back when it was 1st and 30 and caught a 50 something yd TD....u cant talk about young athletes that way....they will drop passes.....well by the way, why pass when u can run?????

he dropped a td pass last week verses Waco.he is averaging about one td drop a game. take off your rose colored glasses.

mmmm...so, im not worried since we can just run the ball....i dont think i wear rose colored glasses while playin on fridays....

i assume by your post that you are a player.what will you do when a team shuts down your run like waco did.believe me lufkin,carter etc will be able to. are you a receiver?

First of all, these are high school KIDS, they make 0$.
Second, you give me 1 player in any sport at any level, much less high school football, that has never booted a play... Well???? Can you??? No you can not, and never will either. You don't sell the farm over 2 droped passes and 2 incompleate passes, and then put up over 400 yards total offense and 48 points. Get real.

No hes not a receiver, but he sure as hell catch better than you can from the sidelines im guessing. And Rashad (one who dropped it) has the talent to do some big things. The reason the drop looks so bad is because we dont even throw the ball 10 times a game which puts each pass we throw under more scrutiny. If we threw 20-30 times a game Rashad would be an all district player, if not more.

cove throws 10 times a game because they can't afford to throw more.obviously you have not seen all the games,starting with 7 on 7. this is a fact:they drop more passes than they catch,with the exception of # 4 and #81 ,who plays mostly defense. ya'll must be receivers parents or niave.look at thursdays cove herald.that is a 50 yd.pass that is dropped.if caught-no overtime.a pitiful group!!!!!!!!!!!!!

don't be surprised to see goins and powell starting at rec.next week.the coaches know the seriousness of the situation.

He caught the 50 yard pass buddy. The ball was stripped by 2 waco players at the 2, thats why we went to overtime, so he didnt have a drop.

Ya he might have dropped a 50 yd pass but he made it up with a54 yd td catch on 1st and 30

You are a true idiot....BAR NONE as you say... when has a newspaper ever got anything right....
It was a 15 yrd pass, caught around the 50, 2 Waco players ran him down around the 5, with one stripping the ball...if you wanna quote facts at least make an attempt at getting it right...if not go back to watching your Star Wars marathon and fiddle with your light saber

are u alright?????....just askin....goins hasnt had a lick on offense this year cause he has found his place with 5 INTs this year.....and i wouldnt mind powell playin some WR cause i think hes a better WR than DB.....and Hawk isnt goin anywhere....nobody yet has been able to cover him not cause he fast but cause he runs his routes so well....

well as for the receivers armstead is very good.. he had caught a td every home game until last but hes good.. and that hawk guy hes good too and to say hes not fast cuz he got ran down is wrong because he runs a 4.4 and he ran on the 4 x 200m relay at state as a sophmore. And that wheeler guy hes a good one.. he'll make the first down catch when needed i believe that this is a good receiving corp

lets just put it this way, cove has a good recievr corp, but the only reason they seem bad is because of all the talent in the other positions. if cove didnt have a great running back then garuntee you would see their recivers putting up amazing numkbers.

I agree with you 15 and the most amazing number would be the number of drops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
