Round Rock topping Georgetown changes everything if i'm not mistaken. Now i think Round Rock controls their own destiny and if they were to make the playoffs they would bump Pflugerville up to division 1 for a showdown with Westlake. Bad break for Westlake IMO. I'm not 100% certain i'm right, but i'm 75% sure. This makes things very interesting since Round Rock has scrubs the rest of the way.

there's now a 4 way tie for 3rd place in the district. georgetown, stony point, round rock and mcneil all at 2-3.
round rock has westwood and stony point
georgetown has cedar park and westwood
mcneil has stony point and pflugerville
stony point has mcneil and round rock.
if i was to guess, i imagine that round rock mcneil and georgetown will be tied at 4-3. and that would set up maybe a points tiebreaker as each has a 1-1 record against each other.
all that's settled is 1st and 2nd. leander and p-ville have clinched and they place this coming week. winner gets the crown and the better placing likely in division II
It is a 4-way tie but McNeil has Stony Point and Pflugerville not Westwood. They beat ww last night 31-27. Out of the four the ones with the best chance are McNeil and Georgetown but there is never really a sure thing in this district. McNeil and Stony Point being examples of this.

If you want my honest opinion, i thought Georgetown was the best team out of these 4 but i think Round Rock beating them last night has set them up. All gtown needed to do was take care of buisness the rest of the way and they were in, but they failed to do so. Now if Round Rock takes care of buisness, they dont need anybody to lose for them, they would be in. This is what has happened this year.
McNeil has beat:
Westwood and Round Rock
Lost to:
Cedar Park, Leander, and Georgetown
Has left to play:
Pflugerville and Stony Point (they will almost for sure finish 3-4, but stony point is playing better than them, so possibly 2-5, but i think they pull it out so 3-4. They would get in if they win out and Georgetown lost, but i think Pflugerville is way to talented for that, and Stony Point is clearly playing better football right now)
Georgetown has beat:
Stony Point and McNeil
Lost to:
Leander, Pflugerville, and Round Rock
Has left to play:
Westwood and Cedar Park (they'll probably finish 4-3, but would need Round Rock to lose to get in)
Stony Point has beat:
Cedar Park, and Westwood
Lost to:
Leander Pflugerville, and Georgetown
Has left to play:
Round Rock and McNeil (i think they will finish 3-4 and clip McNeil out of it, but they could very well win these next two games and finish 4-3, they are playing better than most think, but their "loser in the district" label will probably hold through and they'll mess it up)
^^i can't think of one, but could somebody help me with a senario for Stony Point go get in.
Round Rock has beat:
Cedar Park and Georgetown
Lost to:
Leander, Pflugerville and McNeil
Has left to play:
Westwood and Stony Point (to get in the playoffs they will have to win out and hope McNeil losses a game, and they will probably lose to Pflugerville)
The 3rd spot is an absolute mess right now. If everything plays out like i think it should, Round Rock would get in the playoffs and Pflugerville and Westlake would play in the 1st round of Division 1. If Georgetown or McNeil made it, they would play Westlake. I made these senarios assuming that they dont do it by point differential (i dont know if they do in our district), because if they did Round Rock would be the last to get in. Take this for what its worth, with the information i got together this is what i came up with. If i'm wrong on anything correct me please.

i think the tie breaker among 3 teams tied with each other is point differential. i remember leander trying to kick the XP in the OT game with McNeil so they could get that point and the coach mentioning it. but i dont think they counted it.
it's certainly going to be wild in the chase for #3. there's gonna be some BAD teams next year making that 4th position. 4-6 or 3-7 will not be uncommon for next year making the playoffs.
