The favorite for next year has a cakewalk schedule -- the New England Patriots. Their three conference opponents could have the worst record in the history of a conference - the Jets, Bills and Dolphins are all projected to be terrible.

The Patsies then play the NFC and AFC west - meaning they get to beat up Oakland, Kansas City, San Fran, St. Louis and a possibly improved Arizona team.

Plus, they STILL have the No. 7 draft pick this year - after Spygate.

The Pats will go 14-2 next year and have homefield advantage again - bank on it.

My preference would be for the Cowboys to beat the Pats next year - with a close second being San Diego. :D

The Pats do have the luck of an insanely weak schedule. How does that happen? Even when Dallas sucks they pull at least an average schedule? Anyway, the Pats have alot of work to do this offseason. This thing was structured for a hard run at it this year. With ancient linebackers, free agents in the db & as many as 4 of their receivers requiring big time decisions, they'll have their hands full. To be fair, they've shown the ability as an organization to handle offseason decisions better than most. I'm not sure they've ever had quite so many player decisions to make, though, epscially high dollar decisions like the one with Moss,Samuel,Stallworth & Washigton will be.

The Cowboys need to focus on winning a playoff game before they start dreaming about the Super Bowl.

Cowboys vs. Colts

Cowboys should be better defensively after this draft, and Jason Garrett will have a year of offensive coordinator under his belt. He will improve his play calling even better than it already is.

The Colts should be healthy again, which means Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison will be back to their old ways. Plus, they still have Reggie Wayne and Anthony Gonzalez. Not to mention their defense is very good; #2 against the pass in 2007, and 22 interceptions was tied for second in the league.

Also, for the first time in several years the Colts will not be replacing multiple starters. They'll return their defense virtually intact. In fact it should be bolstered with the return of Booger McFarland. They'll have another good draft, as always under Polian and should be in prime shape.

The NFC East is going to be a dogfight, but the old Norris Division is going to be tough. AD, Brett, and Urlacher still have some teammates that could get on a roll.

i would love to see the Texans finally make a move in their tough division. Can the Chargers recover from their red-cross disaster? Pittsburgh dissappointed, can they get back up there?

When is opening weekend again?

just thinking about it makes me weak.

I want my foosball...:cry

I think the Texans will make the playoffs next year, but no way they go to the Super Bowl. Cowboys very well could though.
