From the Austin statesman
"Westlake Quarterback Nick Foles was one dropped pass from perfection as the Westlake Chaparrals scored eight straight times through three quarters and rolled to a 55-0 District 16-5A victory over outmanned Akins on Thursday night at Burger Stadium.
Foles, a 235-pound junior, scorched the Eagles for 241 yards and three touchdowns while hitting on 14 of 15 pass attempts before leaving the game in the third quarter.
The 6-foot-5-inch Foles opened the scoring with a 1-yard keeper, connected with William Ball on touchdown passes of 28 and 41 yards, then hit Staton Jobe on a 13-yard scoring pass in the third period."
Sounds like he should receive player of the week consideration
