I was wondering whatever happened to David Warren he was the best defensive player in Texas hs football history. I know he was a projected second rd pick out of FSU but had seriouse medical problems and played a little bit with the Colts,Raiders,9ers as a free agent. That is sad that a medical problem probably cost him his NFL career.


For people who dont know David Warren played DE for JT from 94-97 and was the 5A 2 time defensive player of the year and was ranked the #1 DE in the country his SR year. The best defensive play maker I have ever seen play. Went to FSU and that is when his Medical problems started to ocuur.

I haven't heard anymore about him then what you've already said, but after doing some major searching on the net, I finally found that he signed with the British Columbia Lions (CFL) in September of 2003. Unfortuantely, that's the latest information I was able to find. I have a feeling his injuries have forced him to retire. It's a shame though, he had the potential to be JT's second best NFL player ever.
