they didnt really honor them.. it sounded something like this "ladies and gentlemen please welcome the 5A football state runner up Judson Rockets!!" then there were a couple hoots and hollers then some claps for a couple seconds then everybody went back to there beer and hotdogs.. they did get to go on the court though! and my friend filmed kobe bryant walk by them on his way to the locker room then some lady covered up his camera (which happenned to be a phone) and started yelling at him because they werent supposed to be filming or taking pictures.. lol it was pretty funny.. you would have to see it.

It must not have been a big deal. My son never mentioned it or went to the game.

It really wasn't a big deal. This is how it went with my son....... Me asking "where the heck are you". My son saying "On my way to the Spurs game" Me asking ... "When were you going to tell me" My son saying "I didn't know until a little while ago" Me saying "OK have fun"............. All he told me when he got home was they were in the nose bleed seats, they got to walk past the Lakers and the bus ride home took forever :D

It was an honor to be on the floor of the NBA champions. Of course, not many people applauded, in the SA area they are tired of Judson receiving tons of accolades. Most of the fans were not from the Judson area anyway.

Ya Chris was talking about how he told them congratulations and everything. I think he was happy cuz they were winning (at the time) but he still came up short :D

Sorry - I forgot to use the smileys to express my tough - in - cheek sentiment.
But It's a great cultral and historical experience to be Haka'ed. Something to tell your grandkids - if you live and don't become sterile. If you choose to put your head in the sand or stick your fingers in your ears and go lalalalalalalalalalala until it's over, you are missing out on the blessing before the slaughter.
