Devin Thomas?!?!

If this isn't true, than please correct me cause i'm not trying to start a rumor, but i heard from a few people that Petrino aka Quitrino has either pulled Thomas' scholarship or something along those lines. Please tell me this isn't true. They also recently got a commitment from another rb.

Rivals said he decommited after he visted Ole Miss and talked to Bobby Petrino.

He said in the article that he was going to visit Baylor, TCU, Kansas, Missouri, and Arizona St.

They went to visit RB Dennis Johnson(new Arkie committ) in Texarkana instead of visiting Devin Thomas's house(thats the way Devin saw it)......They were scheduled to visit his house on the same day but the coaches said they couldnt make it. This was the second time the coaches had cancelled a visit.

“He just got hired, so I figured he was busy,” Thomas said.

But after Petrino backed out of a second meeting Monday, Thomas was forced to face the obvious: The school to which he had been committed since last summer was no longer interested in his services.

I read this article. What a mature and classy young man. Kinda makes you realize that the thread about colleges and their comittments is very on target.

Too bad he got this raw end of a deal. Shame on Arkansas for not being up front and straight with him.

Like I said, many HS coaches have seen the light and tell the boys to not close all doors.

I can see Devin, probably starting in about a year or so, and tearing the Razorbacks a new one everytime Ole Miss plays them. Petrino will regret this!
