If UT wins out no brainer they will play for the roses no matter what va tech does. Va Tech is #4 behind Georgia in the computer polls. In order to make up the positions in the human polls they would have to move up to #2 in the computer polls and have texas drop to no. 4. Not going to happen if they do not lose.

Hope you're right - but don't forget Georgia -- the SEC should rank out highly this year. Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, LSU -- alot of top 20 teams in there. I do think it will be hard to move Texas out of No. 2 though.

SInce obviuosly margin of victory has no bearing (points at USC vs. ND), All Texas has to do is beta tech and essentially they are home free. THe Ags will play hard but will essentially be run off the field.

Yes, the article I read today saying that 2/3rds of human polls with Texas at #2 both Georgia and Tech would have to do something special to jump into the roses.

BCS is still a joke...Oregon over Notre Dame, I wonder what Pete Carroll would say about that...Tech over Miami, thats cute...TCU over Michigan St, Cal, and Minnesota...if y'all want to read a joke, the Colley Matrix is the worst poll I have ever seen...in fact im making a thread about it

Va Tech looks bad... this against a weak Maryland team. Maryland wouldnt be a top #7 in the Big-12 and they're giving Va Tech everything they want.

We're 10 pt favorites and Maryland has a burning hatred for us after we practically humiliated them last year....
