He won't be there this year and some doubt if he'll ever play at Tech. Reading between the lines, some think his ACT score was flagged by the NCAA for going up too much. Maybe he finally qualified because he cheated to qualify.
Officially, I only know he won't play this year and there is doubt that he will in the future. The cheating part is speculation by Tech fans, but has a reasonable chance to be true since we didn't hear one word about him progressing towards Tech and then all of a sudden he's in Lubbock.
Amie not coming to Tech opened the door for the Raiders to sign Cornelius Douglas.
