What are you guys thoughts on the incident? After several warnings, should they have just blasted them out of the water?

You know, verbal threats don't do much. Now a shot across the bow is an attention getter. You can't tell me those boats didn't know who they were screwing with. I would inform the Iranian government that no more verbal threats or commands will be given. Any boat or warship that comes within a certain distance of an American Warship will be considered hostile and will be "Dealt With" in an unpleasant manner.

I think they were just water skiing. Seriously - those boats were a joke. Iranian Navy = 4 cigarette boats and 6 AK-47's.
