I need your help. If you had to decide between a:

Kyocera Lingo and a Motorola Razr V3A, which one would you choose and why?


Here's the deal....my job provides me with a Blackberry pearl and another lil Verizon LG phone...not sure the model for free......for "Business use"....being the hood person that I am....I use them ALL the time.....day/night...24/7. If you call me...9 times out of 10....were talking on "Company" time. Throw in the fact that my son is in Plugerville calling and texting me 24/7 I was told to "cut back on my talking"...but it wasn't as nice as that...so I decided to just get me something quick cheap and easy. I decided to go with Cricket....and those were the two phones I was looking at. I'm not phone expert...figured someone here could help me out....you can get all kinds of advise on this site. I like the lingo because of the Keyboard. Every time I see a woman...she's on a Razr....so Razr's are girly to me. What do you guys/gals think?...I need to make a descion before the end of the day...my job is gonna pay for the shipping here.

Im pretty sure you can use the keyboard for everything. I have a palm 755p with a keyboard and you can use it for anything that requires #'s and letters.

All the people I know who have/had razr's....HATED them.

They break and screw up easily.

Course girls apparently "treat them better":rolleyes:. Course maybe its cause they have it in their purse or whatever.

i would deff. recommend staying away from the razr... they are crappy phones and you will end up going forever w/ a loner phone if you get one. too cheap and flimsy, and im really surprised that they are still around

razr is like an ipod its just a trendy item. You can get better phones for cheaper really just get the phone that you are most comfy with.

:(sorry, but it's the truth. your kyocera phone should be better than mine because it cost more, but in general kyocera and cricket suck. one more word of advise, DO NOT go to a cricket "authorized dealer" for any reason, ONLY go to a "real" cricket store! i've had cricket for 2 yrs. now. their customer service is pretty decent.

I have a razr after having a old crusty cell phone. My razr does not bother me at all and it is all on company time so I cannot complain. Heck i am the boss so I see the bills and pay it with a company check. I went to replace my old crusty (sucker got great reception though and I loved it) because everybody was teasing me and I got a blackberry pearl. My wife wanted it so I gave it to her and took her silver razr. Works fine for me I am not picky. I like basic and easy to use cell phones. I do not need to converse with NASA or darth vador on a daily basis to feel I have a good cell.

I did not realize some thought of razr's as girly? Just a dang phone to me.
