It seems that every year there are about five teams in the playoff hunt going into the final week. Great balance! :)

Okay, here are mine:

Cy Fair - Cy Springs - I take Springs on this one. I know - sounds weird but it's the end of the season, and Springs is getting better each week and would love to mess up the party (and the standings). What have they got to lose - Springs by 3

Cy Creek - Langham - Creek will take this one but I think it will be fairly close. Langham, too, has some very talented players. Creek by 7

JV - Magnolia - I take JV in this one by 7...just a hunch.

Tomball - Cy Ridge - Cy Ridge really came to life in the second half last week and I saw some nice play going on - Ridge by 10.

Cy Falls - take a breather boys and enjoy the ASTROS in their first World Series!! (Okay, been a fan for 44 years - somethings GOT to give here - maybe Pujols will forget where Busch Stadium is in his swollen ego state). :) ;)

OMG - I'm listening to the Langham - Cy Creek game - Langham just scored the go ahead TD with like 24 seconds left!!!! Way to go LOBOS!!!!! Score is 27-22 Langham - what an exciting game! This would be the second straight loss for Cy Creek but I had a feeling this would be close. LC has some firepower and they almost came back and beat us after being down 35-7. I only caught the end of the game due to the fact that I was watching Baseball tonight (well, the Astros ARE in a small series after all) but it sounds like Jenkins was doing well.

It was an awesome game. Jenkins had kind of a rough night, throwing 3 INTs and losing a fumble, but the young man came through in the clutch and delivered for the Lobos. LC has done a complete 180 since last year.

I wonder what the mind set of the Cougar faithful is at this time. They are still a heck of a team, but how do you recover from losing two games in a row in such dramatic fashion?
