Give us more respect.
Texas drills one of the best Pac 10 teams and handed Arizona State their worse lose of the season.
Kansas beats the best the ACC has to over in Virgina Tech, and proving this team was no joke.
My favorite Mizzou drills SEC Arkansas who was coming off a big win over LSU. But not only did they handle Arkansas, but it was 38-7 McFadden struggled to break 100.
Okie Lite handles up on Little Ten Idiana, but that was kind of expected.
The Big 12 took alot of crap this year, but when it was all said and done the Big 12 was one of the premiere conferences this year.
And for all the well OU lost to WV people.
Im not so sure the right person won the heisman(PAT WHITE), and I will leave it at that, and that is why I am in favor of giving the heisman out after the Bowl games.
Tebow cant beat Michigan with superior talent around him, but Pat White can beat OU with much less. No brainer here.

The Big XII was a pleasant surprise this year, but I want to see if it continues for more than one year. Was this year a fluke or has the conference really returned to it's winning ways?

I'd say with some of the young teams this year that there is still upside.

ESPN and Rivals both have the same 5 teams in the Top 25 for next year. This is what ESPN said:
2. OU
4. Mizzou
7. Texas
12. Tech
15. Kansas
That's about as good as you can get going into a year.
I look at it this way. Texas and OU start high every year. Tech starts too low most years, but with 3 Top 25 finishes in the last 4 years, they look to be becoming a perennial team and getting more respect. The problem has been that the North fell off. If you have a few good North teams, you have a very good conference.

I also left off Tech who beat Virgina.

I noticed!:D
The Big 12 had 4 bowl wins over Top 25 teams.
All of the Big 12 bowl games were against BCS teams unlike the other conferences.
I can honestly say the Big 12 was playing bowl games in locations that aren't fan friendly:
Holiday- Better for Pac-10
Alamo- Better for Big 12
Cotton- Better for Big 12
Sun- Can go either way with Pac-10
Insight- Pretty much neutral with Big 10
Gator- Better for ACC
Orange- Better for ACC this year
Fiesta- Can go either way (Better for Big 12 this year)
Houston- Better for Big 12 when they play
Independence- Mostly better for SEC
The SEC never tells you that they play their bowl games in their back yard almost everytime.

Cotton is only favorable to the Texas and Oklahoma Big 12 schools and when Arkansas is involved that becomes like a home game for the piggies if they're playing a team such as Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas or Mizzou.

Yes, the Pigs have the advantage. I was going on the averages of South teams more than the North and SEC teams not named Arky most of the time.
They stopped selling tickets when Tech went the last time because Raider fans bought so many early in the year.
