I strongly disagree with you on this. I think these two great backs could very possibly be slowed down by the other's D. Remember, they both will be looking at the best defense that they've seen to date.
I say that the team who can get their offense going with others than these two will win the game. What could be the biggest variable in this one is who can throw the ball with some consistency! Last, if won't mean a damn thing if one or both of these backs carries for 250 yards if they don't take care of the football. The two biggest factors will be turnovers and the kicking games (field position).

I strongly disagree with you these two offenses will not abandon what they do best......sure they will pass a few times but that will not be the difference.....whoever can run the ball on a more consistent basis will come out on top.....and looking at these two defenses I think Clemens has the advantage

Whoever throws the ball the most will lose this game.

I am not saying that they will abandon what they do best, simply that if one team can get the passing game going it will make a huge difference! If they get a passing game going, the running game will open up and the consistent basis will be much easier than just run, run, run, run! As far as the defenses, I think that they're both stout, but your right, Clemens' defense I beleive to be better.

The funny part is that Henry will probably not play running back in college. He is probably going to wind up in the secondary somewhere.
I respect your opinion that you think SM is a better team than SC, but what do you base it on? I don't doubt they are a very good team whatsoever, but to say they are the better team without some backup, doesn't make your statement all that strong.
I'll base my opinion that Clemens is the better team on the following. We totally dominated a Waco team in week 1 (that everybody was saying was terrible until this past week when they took CC to triple OT). It was 21-0 and we sputtered on Offense due to stupid penalties and turnovers. We dominated Roosevelt 15-3 and should have scored way more except for the same mistakes as above. Roosevelt is playing everyone in 26-5a tough (especially Madison) even though they kicked 6 starters off the team. I will not compare our wins or SM's wins against the district opponents so far because we have not played Seguin yet and that would be the only game that would make for a decent measuring stick! The other teams are petiful this year. Clemens pretty easily could have beaten a couple of them 100-0 if they had so chose.
I have stated my points on why I think Clemens is the better team. If you get the time, give yours.
Even though I truly beleive that Clemens is the better team and will win the game Friday, I am smart enough to know that it will not be easy. I also know that if we turn the ball over, our chances of beating SM go way down! I'll state this, if neither team turns the ball over, Clemens will win this game.
