IF eli plays like he did the last two weeks...and the defense is solid again, the giants will win. those are 2 big if's, especially the first one...but i'm not holding my breath on eli. i totally expect him to fold next week. but hey, maybe the ground game will pick up what's left...i'm also worried about the giants o-line. banged up, ware might wreak havoc.

Expect both T.O. and Plaxico Burress to have big games. Neither team has anyone that can cover those 2 for 4 quarters.
That said I think Dallas rolls in this one. Give it to MBIII and get out of the way.

If the Cowboys play like they are capable of playing, it doesn't matter what the Giants do. They will get rolled. Unfortunately, the 'Boys haven't been playing worth a fart for a while now, so it'll probably be a close one.

Last season the Eagles lose to the Giants in overtime. The Giants suck and the Eagles must have their number. Yet, in the wild card game the Giants pull out a win 23-30.
In another instance, the 2005 Tampa Bay team beats Washington in the regular season and goes on to lose to that same Redskins team in the wildcard game, 17-10.
Comparing past results to predict future games is the most incompetent way of predicting future games. I could dig further back in history but 3 minutes of research are just fine

The Giants are playing much better then the Cowboys at this time. Eli is finally coming around and the Giants Defense is no cake walk with out TO. So I think the Cowgirls will have a hard time beating the Giants.
The Giants are 7-1 on the road only lost coming in the first game of the season to Dallas.

Good post. The way the Giants have stepped up the past 2 weeks is a big confidence booster for them, and if they can get pressure on Romo just like they did Garcia, Dallas should be in trouble.

Nobody said that TO was definitely going to be out for this game. He has been doing some jogging last week, and is expected to practice Wednesday or Thursday. If he does practice either one of those days, then he will play. Terry Glenn expects to be starting and get almost a full work load in this game, which will help as well. Newman has practiced all last week, and will play against the Giants, along with Patrict Watkins, Keith davis and Jay Ratliff. The 'Boys will be just fine!:D

Everybody is saying that the Boys don't have a chance without T.O.. But, I've gotta strange feeling, that the Boys defense is going to be what wins the game for them. As we all know, the defense has been very shaky, but they're definitely due for a huge game. Why not let it be against a division rival?

Definitely! I predict that between the two of them, they get 4 sacks (2 each). And as a team, we will have 5 sacks. The other one will come from Jay Ratliff with his return from a knee injury in the Eagles game.
Everyone always talks about how good the Giants pass rush is, and they lead the league in sacks, blah, blah, blah... Both games against the Cowboys, they barely got to Romo. The Cowboys have sacked Manning 6 times this season, while the Giants have sacked Romo only 2 times:notworthy. The Cowboys know how to protect against the Giants pass rush, and as long as Romo has time he will make plays. As for Eli, he crumbles under pressure, and he will do it again.

This game is all about getting healthy this time of year, and that is what the 'Boys have been focusing on since the start of December. They started suffering injuries in the Eagles game, and have been trying to get 100% healthy ever since. The Cowboys will be fine, and I think they will surprise a lot of people by playing like they did early in the season. Well, that's what happens when people are jealousy of you. Hell, the Boys haven't won a playoff game since 1996, but, if you look in the record books, guess what team has won more playoff games than any other team in the NFL? The Boys!
Oh, and they've also won more games altogether than any other team, and that's with 4 losing seasons in the last 8 years.
With success, comes jealousy and envy. Hell, what other team can brag about having 20 consecutive winning seasons? It's obvious that there are tons of people who base their lives around whether the Boys win or lose. When you're on top, people try their best to downplay it. But, as soon as you lose a few, the hecklers come out of the woodworks.
You Carroll and MOJO folks should know that by now!

Why does it bother you that people are overlooking the boys?
It doesn't, I think it's hilarious. I actually like that we are being overlooked. It's just funny that a 13-3 team is going to "sneak" up on the "all of a sudden really good" Giants.
I'm not worried or bothered that the Cowboys are overlooked...I actually like it.

What 93 said in post number 84!
I have 100 percent confidence in the Boys, but if, IF, they don't get there, I still have a feeling that the NFC is gonna rise up and bite the AFC in the a$$, just like the Buccaneers did to the Raiders a few years back.

A 13-3 team, #1 seed...Gosh that still amazes me that we are overlooked:confused:.
Oh well! The Boys will continue to maintain focus on the task at hand and take it one game at a time.

Cowboys will prevail, and we will be sitting here on Monday reading the crow of all the Cowboys haters.:D Then they will continue to say that we will lose in the NFC Championship, and so on and so forth.

I don't think it's the overlooked part. It's the doubted, borderline disrespected portrait much of the national media has been trying to paint that bothers most of us. While the journalism world has their orgy with the AFC, we'll just keep rollin'.
I thought journalists were extinct.
It's just a bunch of bloggers now...:rolleyes::mad:
