You knew it wouldn't last. I just saw the hunting part. I killed two more hogs this weekend 175 lbs boar and a 150 lbs. sow.

I'll guarantee you that you are going to run out of bullets before hogs! LOL When we were hunting between Devine and Hondo, I supplied everyone I knew with pork for 4 years straight. I don't know tasty the hogs you are getting are, but the ones down there were grain fed and were as good or better as store bought pork. I preferred it to store bought for flavor and because it was far more lean.

Shoot you a couple of smaller piglets (about 20 to 30 lbs or so) and BBQ 1/2 at a time real slow for about 6 to 8 hours! Nothing better!

You can prepare pig alot of different ways. i hear if you take the backstrap and push prunes up the middle of it then bake it it is supposed to be really good

I have never heard of that one before. I'll think I'll pass though, prunes are not my favorite! LOL Just take your backstraps out (like you would a deer) and butterfly cut them. Soak them in milk overnight in the frig and then batter them and chicken fry!
